I believe that the front camera runs at 4k unless you connect the rear camera, then it drops to 2k and the rear runs at 1080. A fair few others at this point are the same. The main negative, in my opinion, is lack of GPS which many of the competition include. I like this feature as it records your speed and location which could be handy in the event of an insurance claim

It is OK to stick it on the dots, will not affect the radio reception. You will not damage the dots if you need to remove the camera, the dots are baked to the glass from the factory.

I just installed mine and if you use the rear camera, the front will only record 2k or 1080p. If you unplug the rear camera, then you can change the front one to 4k. Even with the 4k setting, the video is pretty grainy and if you take a screenshot of a license plate in the daytime, it's very blurry and not easy to read from even 15-20 feet away. I'm already shopping for another one so I can return this one.

@@katerycho14 That's odd regarding poor 4k quality, mine seems very good, as you see from my footage, the one I installed is fine? But yes 2k on the rear 😉

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes yes, it's very strange. I was expecting the picture to be much clearer. Even when sitting in my driveway, my neighbors house across the street isn't as sharp as I would expect it to be. I have a 2k doorbell camera that is further back than my driveway and I can zoom in and read the address numbers on the house across the street with no problem, but I can't make them out on the dash cam even when it's sitting 20 ft in front of the doorbell cam.
