The real problem isn't politicians groveling for votes from Iowans. It's corporate lobbyists handing draft legislation to House and Senate members, who pretend PAC and other donations aren't payments in advance to push through those drafts and make them law.

Judge Stevens was so angry he was forgetting his words
I had a zoom court appearance for a small matter in 2020. I was the only one that showed up in a shirt and tie for my zoom appointment. The judge took a moment to thank me for dressing appropriately. I never really understood why until these past 3 years of watching Mike and these types of videos. This one is a perfect example.
Did not ONE elder or friend tell you to dress nicely be respectful, ever, during the process? Do the attorneys not care anymore? I knew of attorneys that had a car full of shirts and ties just in case they showed up in a shirt.
Judges do notice and they do pay attention.
My dau, an atty, always keeps a suit, plus a jacket, in her office in case she’s unexpectedly called to court.

Judge Stevens is a great example (along with many others) of what American Justice looks, sounds, and feels like. He appears as a a fatherly, strict, yet very fair figurehead.
And if this lawyer was located and practicing in Texas instead of located and practicing in Illinois, he wouldn't dare to defy Judge Stevens' explicit court order not to rebroadcast his proceedings.
Oh, and you obviously don't know the definition of "figurehead."

Judge DiSantos deserves to have a wonderfully relaxing weekend, This week has been horrible to her. Thanks for this collection! I remember this happened several times when Zoom Court just started. Let's not forget the people using the bathroom in court or laying down sleeping in bed. We even had that one guy who was "snuggling" with his woman. (I really hope that was ALL he was doing.) This is a good reminder that ZOOM court is just like being in the courthouse courtroom. PLEASE dress and act appropriate. Many judges have been getting relaxed with this lately. I wish they would get stricter. 😎🦇

Judge DiSanto had four 8th grade girls in court today and when she asked them who the ring leader for going into the closed middle school was, it was like the dog video where the other two dogs totally busted the dog who did it by looking at the culprit.
