Some say the best work a government puts out is when its in a minority government. But I do like the idea of a majority government, where if things need to get done, they can get done without much chaffing. I'd rather have a take charge leader than constant deadlocking in minorities, elections left and right, proportional representation would do just that.

+jey zap : Bleed "the rich" dry, and you will not begin to cover the massive, idiotic spending the Liberals are about to commence. Candice Malcolm column, "Trudeau's Numbers Don't Add Up," Toronto Sun, Oct. 8th, 2015: "The [Liberal] party's brass outlined its plan to add a jaw-dropping $146.5 billion in new govt. spending over the next four years, financed through debt, increased taxes and targeted cuts. ... They will bring in 25,000 Syrian refugees in the next three months... The Liberals say they will spend $100 million on the program." They also plan to give more to the CBC than the 1-billion-plus it already receives per year (it's such a good leftist propaganda machine). Think you're exempt from higher taxes inflicted by Liberals? Pfffft! Harper lowered taxes. That's about to be undone.

The Liberals may plan to add over a $1 billion dollars over the next four years, but Harper inhereted a surplus of $13.8 billion when he took office and within two years had created a deficit of $5.8 billion... in two years he spent $19.6 billion, deleting a surplus and putting Canada back into deficit. During his time in office he increased our debt by $150 billion.
