Misty along the coast so not the best views, but cleared up as I headed inland. Muddy in places after leaving the coast, then a tough climb up Dent Hill followed by a steep drop down. Beautiful along Nannycatch Beck and getting quite warm by this stage. The route up and out of Nannycatch Beck was not obvious and there were no signposts, but luckily I found it ok. Kinneside Stone Circle is easily visible and close to the road, then it's an easy walk to Ennerdale Water.
Felt very tired at the end of today's walk.
17.5 miles.
Respect :-)
Great video👍thanks for sharing❤
Thank you, glad you liked it.
Just found your videos. Enjoyed your journey. Thanks for sharing. Blessings
Thank you, glad you enjoyed my video. It's a great walk, I loved it.
Looking forward to watching these videos - did the walk Sept 22 in an organised group. Great fun. Next time I think I'll go East to West and then walk the 4 miles home from St Bees.
Hope you enjoy the videos Richard. It's such a great walk - I loved it, though I did find it tough in some places, especially the Lakes.
You are so lucky to live close to St Bees and have all those mountains close by. Where I live it's flat agricultural land and I have to travel a couple of hours to get to the nearest hills!
That's nice to live 4 miles from the beginning.😊
Well done Jean! I did the walk a couple of weeks after you, in brilliant weather! Look forward to reminiscing as I watch the rest of your hike.
Well done to you too. Great when the weather stays good. Hope you enjoy the videos.
