Gojira fans are some of the most overreacting douches I've ever seen. Gojira isn't even on Ne Obliviscaris' level. Not even on Obscura's nor Opeth's level. And they act like they invented metal or something. It's just a fun, ocasional, groove band, nothing spectacular.

You for example it's one of those toxic fans, whatever Gojira are great or not that shouldn't be your fucking business, enjoy your bands I am sure they are great (Opeth it's great) and let other people enjoy their bands

Probably because gojira is very controlled heavy metal. It’s deep and heavy but at the same time you can identify the rhythms which add sort of melancholic effect
It's a shame that there isn't more people reacting to one of the best metal bands out there.

Nope. Musicians don't get much appreciation at all. Maybe one in 50 people will tell you, "Nice, I love Gojira" and that's it. There's a video of Joshua Bell, one of the greatest violinists of all time playing for free on a subway station and nobody gave a crap. Almost nobody appreciates music or art in general, specially on the streets where they're all too busy thinking what fast food to eat or some mundane shit like that.
