I saw them earlier this year with Mastodon and Lorna Shore and, damn, Gojira puts on an amazing show. This song live was epic. Literally everyone on the floor bobbing their heads in unison to the beat. The energy in that room was indescribable.
Mouth of Kala opening riff is one of those that you just cannot keep straight face when it starts, the "stank face" is just inevitable. Also the chorus is just simply beautiful
Hearing Judson say "I like Gojira", and other heavy bands for that matter, I'm sure makes the whole exercise worthwhile. There's hope yet for getting him in corpse paint by the end of 2024...
Hell yes Richard, Hot Action Cop rules!! I love "Fever for the Flava" as well as "Doom Boom" and "Goin' Down On It" (and "The art of dying" is actually my favorite Gojira track! Stoked!)
Another great reaction, guys. You should check out Satan is a Lawyer by Gojira. Very different than most of their catalog. The Art of Dying is great also.
I recently got into Gojira thanks to the “controversial” Olympic Games performance and this is far and away my favorite song!! 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻💯 Vacuity is a close second.
I agree with Judson about Gojira, they’re just awesome! Please react to “The Gift of Guilt” for a great example of their ability to be both melodic and brutally heavy in the same song. And “Rememberance” from “The Link Alive” would be great to show Judson what technical musical geniuses they are, and how mind blowing they are live! Love the channel! 🤘
I’d heard of GOJIRA for years, but it wasn’t until I saw them live that I felt the emotion in their music. And now I can’t un hear it! Point being I’ll never introduce anyone to them outside of a live performance!
Dude.... I have been looking for the name of that song for years! Just a couple hours ago I hummed it into my google song recognizer. Didn't recognize jack. The sheer odds of that are astronomical. Thank you man. lol
Love Gojira, on a side note you mentioned ''winter'' and I automatically remembered the band Wintersun. If you have not checked them out check ''Wintersun: Sons of winter and stars'' from their Sonic pump studio session.
Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes. I went to listen to their concert without knowing anything about them really. Of course I checked some songs out beforehand, but not too deeply. After seeing them live I can say that I became a lifelong fan. Just awesome music and band.
Ahhhhhh! Excellent tune!! Gojira!!!!! That is how the Japanese say Godzilla! Nice 6/4 chorus for ya J, and Richard.......wtf is wrong with you comparing those two songs.........? Haha, just kidding man, all music is subjective. Rock on GM!!!! \m/
Gojira? OK...You should analyze, react to Sepultura classics such as: Escape to the Void, Inquisition Symphony, Beneath the Remains (the song), Dead Embryonic Cells, Desperate Cry, Refuse/Resist, Territory, Isolation, Means to an End. I would like to suggest songs from my favorite Sepultura album (Morbid Visions, 1986, first LP), but I think you would consider the production, sound "crude", "sloppy"... Nevermind...
I think "The art of dying" is way too soon, you should maybe try L'enfant sauvage et the Gift of guilt before. In terms of heaviness you'd go from a 3/10 to a 9/10 lol, I think that's a bit too extreme, maybe ease him into it a bit more first !
Judson has already heard Lorna Shore. He can handle Gojira's heaviest. I really want to see his reaction to that insane polyrythym drumming in The Art Of Dying.
@@joshuacanipe7688i wouldnt call art of dying gojira's heaviest. Their first album definitely takes that and considering Hudsons previous opinions about more heavier death metal, i don't think he would like it as much.
I think l'enfant sauvage is one of their more accessible songs but also one of their cooler songs. Big fan of anything by them but I agree, the heavier it is the less Judson seems to enjoy it. I'd rather see him enjoy the music than merely react to the music.
It's ok Richard I didn't know that Beatles song either because im not a Beatles fan and they are overrated. Gojira is the shit though, in my top 5 bands.
All react videos are fake and it's incredible to see that everyone believes them. They know very well what they are hearing for the "first time" and the reactions are always positive to please the needy fans of the band/artist.

Dude no shit. Best show ive been to in years. I will never miss Gojira when they come through again. So good live.
Unreal live performances! Especially gojira though, where did you see them? I was in Toronto!
@@im-pro-at-skyrim8285 Was at the show in Austin. Mastodon closed it, but Gojira had by far the biggest crowd reaction.
@@Nightwish1094 sick dude, I definitely thought gojira should've closed but mastodon eventually reeled the crowd in and ended it with a bang!
Boston? That was a great show! Wife became a fan that day
Gojira is awesome and The Art of Dying is a great follow up! I think Mouth of Kala is a terribly overlooked track!

It really does make it worth the time we’re putting in to do these videos. Corpse paint and a Dark Funeral shirt… that’s my goal. 😂
I look forward to being serenaded by Judson every time. Thank you for these videos guys.
It's like there are eggs under his palms.
This is becoming one of my favorite RUclips channels.
Hell yes Richard, Hot Action Cop rules!! I love "Fever for the Flava" as well as "Doom Boom" and "Goin' Down On It" (and "The art of dying" is actually my favorite Gojira track! Stoked!)
Oh my goodness! It's so fun that you mention Fever for the Flava, that brings back memories from playing Need For Speed Hot Pursuit on the PS2!
Yes! Love to hear more Gojira!
Amazonia 😊

I love the new Richard cam, and him just vibing!

Greetings from Colombia, falling in love with your videos and with The Pianist skills 🎉

Synchronicity my friend. Synchronicity.
@@judsong Good looking out. That google version is traaaash.
This is probably my favorite Gojira song.
Piano playing expressing emotions.

Also "Land of snow and sorrow"... :)
Time for Judson to get Richard's reactions to some songs. 'Fool on the Hill' for openers.
Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes. I went to listen to their concert without knowing anything about them really. Of course I checked some songs out beforehand, but not too deeply. After seeing them live I can say that I became a lifelong fan. Just awesome music and band.
Flying Whales might be a good one to do.
Love this song. Awesome pick
Art of Dying is an excellent choice. On board for that one.
Yeah, I was hoping they'd get to it next.
Love it. One of those songs that got me over my refusal to give them a legitimate chance.
Trivium "The shadow of the abattoir"
You guys gotta do Holy Fawn, either Drag Me into the Woods, or Dark Stone
Great measures!
Would love to see y'all react to "Lifer" or "Learn From This Mistake" from Down. 🤘😤🤘
Next Gojira should be off of From Mars to Sirius
Would love to hear his thoughts on porcupine tree, specifically sentimental
I recommend Silvera next, similar vibes and such an amazing and catchy chorus
Looking forward to seeing The Art Of Dying next!
Hot Action Cop was also featured in Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2
I was going to suggest Art of Dying or Flying Whales for the next one to check out.
Now I’m over here jamming out to “Hot Action Cop”
The Art of Dying is a perfect next step, Flying Whales next?
Yessss the Art of Dying next please!
FUCK YEA ! MORE GOJIRA !
More Gojira ❤
I would love to watch a vildhjarta reaction
machinehead song reminds me os a metalocalypse song and I cant unheare it
Huh, that Fever for the Flava riff sounds like a major version of the Stranded riff (if it is minor, I don't know)
HOW ABOUT A REACTION TO DEATH AND THEIR SONG FLESH AND THE POWER IT HOLDS
...hah...just watched it...
...done...he hated it...
Gotta listen to Silvera off the same album. Opening riff is epic.
It’s so simple yet so good!!!
little ricky needs to hear the loony tunes cover of fool on the hill.
I think you guys should dig into the deep in gojira with something like Toxic Garbage Island or The Art of Dying.
Flying Whales!!!!!
Can you do Porcupine Tree - Anesthetize ? Justin would have to listen for about 18 minutes but it'll be worth it
Surely it's time for Meshuggah - Bleed?
Youll see it shortly
How bout some Sabaton-1916?
Just curious as to what headphones Judson uses , thanks.
maybe show him some clown core :P like the van album would be awesome to see his reaction and analysis
Original Machine Head next!
How can you not know that beatles song?
Liquid hot "magma"...
yes yes yes to the art of dying!
I'd never heard that Beatles song but I can say without a doubt I much prefer Judson's version. Beautiful
THE ART OF DYING!!!!!!

you have to do The art of dying
Flying whales is a must
React to Gojira- Amazonia :z
Btw. a great one that also features Devin Townsend and Fredrik from Meshuggah is "Of Blood and Salt".
Wonder what he’d think about the Art of Dying
Ah yes, Mario and Luigi Duplantier once again🤘
At some point you have to touch Ayreon:)...
Do a reaction to secrets within by car bomb
The art of dying... do it!
React to Sepultura from BRASILLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Love Gojira but this is very mid from them .. way better songs by them to review
Gojira is overrated .Yes they had two good albums
How about some mastodon?
