There’s an online school called Athena’s Academy and they have a four semester history class History for Whovians and the kids have to watch certain shows and then do homework and discuss during the live online class. It was great. My son did all of them.
I just did my own googling and apparently this was a common thing, a college in Manchester (in the UK as I don't know how many other Manchester's there are) announced a Doctor Who course also in 2015!

That was just a Bachelor's degree, I don't think you can have a Doctorate in Doctor Who unless you have watched all classic who (including telesnap reconstructions, new who, nu nu-who AND Big Finish. 🤣🤣I'm happy being a noob.
If you got a degree in Doctor Who, me getting a degree in Doctor Who will be a piece of cake, I know literally everything there is to know about this show.

I studied Tv Production at uni - one of my lecturers was a Dr of Tv history and he did his thesis on Dr Who! HE WAS A DOCTOR OF DR WHO
