Some day when time catches up where some of the waste was dumped on new people's land will be tore up digging it back up and dumped back on that land or find another site. Its happened in my area many times with different chemicals...we are in different states but its usually handled the same until someone ponies up the cash to develop it and you'll see paperwork disappear but no dirt will ever leave site lol. As someone who has been a sub to this channel pretty much since day 1, I’ll never believe Leo’s story. Makes 0 sense how he goes from getting calls from debt collectors, being broke as heck to having a 300k boat (that got “stolen”), multiple vehicles, new trx, multiple sxs’s etc etc in just a few years. I’m sorry but unless he had a massive income (stealing money) debt/credit recovery doesn’t work like that in that short amount of time. He had hundreds of thousands of stuff recording for a channel with a few hundred thousand subs? Ya no. Doesn’t work like that. But most people that defend him haven’t been around long enough to know how broke he was say even, 5 years ago.

Yous got done very dirty by whoever sold the land if that wasn't disclosed. BUT that's also a good thing in a way. That shit is nothing to mess with. Yous will have cancer if indeed the grounds are full of chemichals. That also begs the question, what can that land be used for?? Also how is there crops right next to yous if you can't stir up a little dirt?

So it all makes sense now, it's not that they don't want you ripping around on SXS's out of respect of the land it's because of the potential chemicals and substances in the ground being disturbed and becoming airborne. We have many places in Australia with the same rules as we have a lot of naturally occurring asbestos here.
it does make sense, however they should have been made aware of that prior to purchase.
@@digger450r 2 things I can think of there, that would effect the value of tha land and they probably didn't foresee the place being turned into a racetrack but I agree things like this should have been made known prior to purchasing.
When I heard DOW owned it, the first thing I thought of was contaminated soil. Living in one of the other places DOW, Dupont, Monsanto and Union Carbide have occupied over the years has been an experience. I know it feels like a setback, but count your blessings you're leaving sooner than later.
I think its actually legally required for contamination to be disclosed when selling property.

(Never liked the term "fans", everyone in SXSBlog are just people, too.) Some of the best times and memories of my life are wrapped up in SXSBlog and I'm really thankful for that. Obviously I can't say with certainty what the future holds and it absolutely sucks to be left in lurch and feel like you're in the dark. I know people wouldn't be mad and complaining if they didn't care, if this wasn't something special to them. Please try to hang in there. Think of it like the hiatus between seasons.
