Hello Jo, I am one of your subscribers who found you through Kimberley. I cannot tell you what joy your channel brings me. I am English but have lived in the states for 30 years, the last 20 in Florida. Before emigrating, I lived and worked in London (at one point in Wigmore Street) so each week I get to 'come home' with you. Myrtle is fabulous, I have an Italian Greyhound called Prudence. Thank you for sharing your life and have a lovely holiday. I feel your anxiety as like you I have not travelled since the pandemic but am planning on coming home to London in September. Maybe I will have the greatest luck and bump into you or get in Daves Cab!
Hi Mandy, I am a Londoner, and have lived in the US for 30 years too. We came here with my husband's job, back in the Middle Ages, an Italian firm, and stayed on, essentially :) Also in Florida these last 20 years, in Delray B. So nice to 'meet' you. We too have not been back these last 3 yrs due to covid, hopefully next spring..too cold now for us thin skinned Floridians. ;) I LOVE Jo, and the great people I see that follow her..good luck in getting back to the UK and we may all meet up one day in Dave's cab..
Hi Bridget, what a coincidence! We did make it home in September and were so lucky to not only have great weather but also to coincide with being there for the Queen's funeral. I'm sure you will agree, no one does pageantry and tradition like the UK, so although sad we were honored to be there to experience the wonderful atmosphere in London. Unfortunately, didn't get to meet Jo or Dave! We are live in Ponte Vedra Beach which is close to St.Augustine. Nice meeting you online!

I am 67 and have a wonderful friend that I met in grade 2 at maybe 7 or 8 years old so ….. we haven’t lived near each other as adults but love catching up ………a long lovely friendship

Loved this weeks vlog. Really enjoyed your Q&A with Kimberly. You talked about being in the best place in your life and how all the past events lead you to this time. How so true is that. I’m 69 and the happiest Iv ever been - very happily single but with an amazing partner who I spend weekends with him but I can be alone whenever I want! My own beautiful little house, amazing friends and thankfully money for ridiculously fashion and beauty products!! I also have an amazing best friend Iv known since I was 16 so what’s that 53 years? Iv stopped watching other RUclipsrs as lots are so unauthentic but love how real you are! ❤️
I have always felt, that if you just take away one thought/action from a self help book, then it has done its job. Up till recently, I was a professional landscape gardener, more soft than hard landscaping as I adore plants. I haven't an artistic bone in my body but, I am 100% creative in being able to visualise the end result in any planting/interior decorating scheme. As to needing downtime, 100% agree with that philosophy. I have finally learnt to recognise when my mind/body requires a break from everything/everyone - it's a given and in essence, a form of personal regeneration and self care. Enjoy your holiday, you deserve it - just let it go, it will be fine. Don't we all deserve a reward after the past few years? Nearly at 50K subs - well done. xxx

I love this vlog Jo, I’m very interested in the book you showed. What you said really resonated with me, I have always worked since the age of 14, the same thing, but recently I stopped working at the age of 54 as my husband said ‘if you’re not happy then just stop’. Which was good for me but now I’m very lost and have no direction. Maybe the book will help me. Have a great holiday! The red dress is gorgeous! xx ❤️

I'm 68 and I retired 4 years ago. Like yourself, I worked since I was a teenager and spent 30+ years of my 50+ years of working in magazine publishing. Our schedules demanded that I take any time off during the last two weeks of the month and I did that without any hesitation. Unfortunately, that also meant trudging to work during snow storms and while ill. When I was 46, the company had a series of layoffs (it was the beginning of the end for print) and I was on the list to go. No one said, "Oh, we can't lay her off! She never missed a deadline. She scheduled her vacations to accommodate the company." Never apologize for taking time off; giving yourself a fresh perspective and enjoying your life to the fullest. You're wonderful, Jo!
I am a huge fan of morning pages- I really notice the difference in my day when I don't do them. I also do a weekly ' art date, which keeps me playful in my creativity ( I am an artist).

I just went to the UK for 3 weeks and had no problems whatsoever! It was a wonderful trip from Canada. I got all my luggage; only a few hour delay in the US going through Denver. It was a safe and thrilling vacation. I walked through all the parks in the hopes of seeing you. I found Marelybone and Carnaby Street. Went into Rixo and some of the other places you mention in your vlog. Wonderful places to visit!
Kimberly is in Atkin, South Carolina. She is 5 hours behind GB time. So it was 2:00 her time and 7:00 your time! I lived in England, (8 years in London - and 7 in the New Forest)! Love your chats! 👏👏👏🙋♀️🇺🇸🥰

I love Jonna. She works hard. She developed her own jewelry brand with her husband. At times she does not vlog but when she does, she presents the most beautiful film and storey line. She keeps it simple but interesting. I have followed Jonna for quite some time. She has a mix of stories that never disappoints and her art is beautiful

I purchased The Artists Way in 1995. The Artists Way - It's never too late - Camerons 2nd book - is one I purchased a couple of years ago. You have reminded me to get them out. I will takke it out of my library once again and go through it. I know of a few people that used this book the Artists Way and are now successful entrepreneurs. I am so glad I saw this video. Hi Jo, I'm the one who told Kimberly about your channel because I thought she would enjoy your channel and she's quite independent like you. She lives in Aiken South Carolina and just moved there about a month ago from Lake Tahoe in Nevada. I watched her interview with you and you were wonderful. She had some great questions for you and I'm looking forward to your video asking her about her life. Your childhood friend is lovely and I too have a best friend since the 2nd grade, so it's about 58 years and we've been through thick and thin together. That red dress is absolutely stunning in it's color and shape on you, so I'm glad you snapped it up. I think once you get to the airport and start your travels you'll be fine. jonna jinton is just awesome! scenery & lifestyle to die for. but it's her humbleness & gratitude that really is so charming & beautiful about her. & what a talent, too. kne of those rarities that you see why good thi gs come to her bc if what she sends out to the universe.... you look quite gorgeous in your bathroom! The Artists Way book looks brilliant i must look into it. yes, when you're talented at things that you decide to leave behind for whatever reason, believe me it scratches at your subconscious big-time... lessening out quality of life. scientifically too, bc it goes towards the fluctuating biochemicals & all the lack of's (huge subject) lile dopermines, bc we're literally starving our well-being. i left work & went naturally back to my childhood loves. my soul needed to find the things that made her sing again in order to heal from many of life's woes. my own personal artistic pursuits that I managed to thankfully find again, literally saved my mental health. there is so so much in the philosophy of even the small exerpt that you read!
