Although London is seen as a 24-hour city, late-night, non-membership bars are hard to find. Well, this week I find the most atmospheric 1920's speakeasy, right in the heart of China Town! It’s behind a jade door that I have passed many times. The best cocktails in town. It’s certainly a venue to enjoy if you are living in or visiting London.

Just put your serum on your damp skin. It will penetrate better that way. (Don’t do this with retinol products, they need to go on dry skin, but most other serums work really well on damp skin.) 👍😊💕

I love listening to your house parties from my home in Southern California at two in the afternoon. I bring the speaker outside and putter around the garden--sometimes I even swim, although the water is quite cold!

There was such a calm relaxed vibe with this vlog, I really enjoyed it. Your late night cleansing session was fueled by chocolate, that may be the key to getting it done. Love those lights George brought for you flat. The streets of London are so much more crowded than Manhattan.
Jo I went for a treatment the other day first I had microdermabrasion, then I went under an LED lamp for 20 mins called dermalux which is supposed to be good for pigmentation , my skin felt and looked amazing afterwards, lovely vlog as always , have a great week 🥰
Lovely long Vlog Jo - gosh you’re busy. You know what I really like about your channel is the fact that you do keep in the more negative and banter comments. If you look at the younger established bloggers nearly all their comments are from people telling them how wonderful they are. They must get someone to delete the more negative ones. You keep it real and that’s what people like.

@@arnicepernice8656 yes I think you’re right, certainly debating something is not encouraged. I can understand not wanting horrible and negative remarks on your feed but it does make it a bit boring when nearly every comment tells you how fabulous you are. I wonder if it’s also an age thing. Like Jo I’m in my sixties and when we were younger we did question things - it was the norm. There does seem a fear amongst the younger RUclips generation of lively debate.

The Opium Bar looked fantastic! I am hoping to get to London in the next year or two. The crowds in the streets are so good to see, especially after the lockdowns.

I love how your hair is shaped at the back, it looks good. I'm not sure what kind of people get satisfaction in vandalising other people's cars, it is very annoying, I have experienced it many times. Another great vlog, very entertaining. Please do a 'what people are wearing' vlog.

Hi Jo, I totally understand the pace you are keeping. It's hard doing an evening shift when most are on days, so meetings etc do land during your off hours. As long as you get your sleep and take your rest when you can.
Jo, I add a little baby oil to my make up remover and it makes the mascara come off so easily , you might want to try it :-). The fairy lights looked lovely, I have them up all year round so cosy...Your cocktail looked amazing xx

Hi Jo. I really admire your busy life and I was so delighted to live in buzzy London back in the late 70’s as it does require an extra boost of energy which I’m not sure I could handle these days! How frustrating and upsetting to have your new car scratched like that. I’ve a feeling it would be better to get some advice rather than just leaving it. The flat looked so pretty with its decorations and lights and you must do Christmas. The beautiful hydrangeas given by your lovely flower seller are perfect when dried so don’t throw them out. Hi Jo try using your flannel with eye make up remover rather than cotton wool pads. Much more sustainable - I got that from Caroline Hirons book after you interviewed her on your show! She uses a different flannel each day. Feels great having the hot flannel opening up my pores!

Jo, I was staying in London last week as a treat for my birthday and I popped down to Marylebone High Street on the off-chance of bumping into you. I was admiring the cats in the window of the art gallery near your flat and the owner, your lovely neighbour Michael, came out to chat. When I told him that I was a fan of yours he phoned you! Unfortunately you were in a meeting but it was lovely to hear your voice and it was such a pleasure to meet Michael. I really enjoyed exploring some of the sights on the Marylebone High Street that you share with us on the vlogs - you are really fortunate to live there.
You sound like a loyal fan, and I'm sure you meant well, but don't forget to respect Jo's personal space, territory & privacy ~ when in the public eye so much everyone needs their down time.
@@JoannaLouise200 Jo was absolutely delighted that I'd dropped by to see her. When her neighbour phoned her (his idea, certainly not mine - I'd actually told him not to!) Jo was genuinely thrilled and excitedly told everyone in her meeting that one of her followers was there, hoping to meet her. If you watch the vlogs you will see how happy Jo is each time she encounters followers. She always says that it makes her day. I'm sure you meant well too, but I really don't need to be patronised or reminded to respect Jo's privacy and space, thank you.

Jo, I’ve had cars keyed, stolen, broken into, vandalised and even a deer jumped over a hedge and right into the side of my car ( the deer was ok, my car wasn’t so much!) Touch wood, nothing has happened since I moved to this beautiful part of Scotland. Happy Halloween 🎃 👻🎃

Aw, Matilda is so funny, the way she looks at the camera 😂 I had my car keyed two years ago and I still haven't fixed it but will do at some point. It was keyed all down one side (across 3 panels) and I was quoted £750 to fix it. I wished I had a dashcam. Great video!

Try plain old Nivea eye makeup remover it contains oil and it’s the best at around £2.50 . I wear a lot of mascara and it removes the lot.
