I love Johnny Depp. Some years ago he was filming a movie in our town (Lockport, Il). He was so kind to all the kids who were around, especially the kids who had a handicap. He had his own children with him, who were still kids, who had great fun at the homemade candy store.
Myrtle is so utterly sweet. Wanting to do her utmost best....it is extremely touching. Dogs!!!!!! They are the best. Can't live without my 2 lovely small dogs. I have dogs since 1974. They all did get old. Sjuttel 17/ Toontje 17/ Dot 15. The ones i have now are Pippins 11 and Nola 5. Have a nice Sunday & regards from a very windy the Netherlands.

I heard Myrtle snore! Perhaps you need some black-out curtains in your bedroom. I awaken when the first light peeks through but the curtains help immensely.
Hi Jo, when I worked nights I had to put either room darkening window coverings or I covered the windows with tin foil! This helped so much and also close your bedroom door and put a towel under the door so no light comes in! The company I worked for had an expert come to Calgary from Toronto to helps us with sleep problems, he had written a book on sleeping. Anyway try this and it will help, it helped me!

I love your vlogs you remind me so much of my Swedish/English friend. The English approach to dogs in cafes etc... is so refreshing. I'm a NZer but lived in England for 3 years with my kiwi border collie and we loved every minute of it. Such a buzz taking your dog to a pub and into shops etc...something that never happens here. We miss England and all the lovely country walks and places to go. Myrtle is so cute. P.S. my surname is also Good but with a silent e on the end 😉

Great video. Myrtle is a star. Talking of storms I do remember the 1987 one. I was working just off Fleet Street and living on the Isle of Dogs. That storm was terrifying. We were sent home early and the DLR stopped at the top of the island and I had to walk home which was at the bottom. Canary Wharf was basically a building site and I was certain I was going to be hit by a piece of debris from the buildings. 😱 stay safe, it looks as we’re in for more stormy weather.

Johnny Depp once emptied my classroom. I was teaching in a ground floor room close to a courtyard at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich and they were filming Pirates of the Caribbean. I noticed a gradual leak of students and one of the students finally piped up that Johnny Depp was standing nearby and doing autographs. I had to pretend to finish the class early, reluctantly. He also kissed one of the lecturers. Love to Myrtle.
