The Azalea Cocktail: A Taste of The Masters

In this video, I will create The Azalea, the official cocktail of The Masters.
The Azalea Cocktail was created to commemorate the famed Masters Golf Tournament held in Augusta, Georgia in April. Named for the flowers that flank the iconic 12th green and around the grounds, this drink will be a favorite for any golfing fan!

To create this Cocktail, you will need the following:
Collins Glass
Lemonade
Grenadine
Vodka
Shaker
Strainer
Jigger
To actually make the Cocktail:
.5 oz./ 15 ml Grenadine
5 oz./ 120 ml Lemonade
1.25 oz./ 37 ml Vodka
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake over ice for 12-15 seconds. Strain over ice in a Collins or other Tall Glass. Add a straw and enjoy. Optionally Garnish with a Lemon Wheel.

I was imagining the Azalea cocktail would be as interesting as it sounds, so to learn it’s just lemonade and vodka was a big disappointment as I can’t think of a more uninspiring cocktail. I guess it’s to be expected from golfers
