Today I want to show you how to make The Big Bamboo Cocktail.
I found this recipe on one of the Facebook groups I am in.
This gave me another chance to use my Tiki glasses.
To make The Big Bamboo Cocktail I used low carb alternatives to the Coconut Rum, syrups and juices.
The Big Bamboo Cocktail
Ingredients:
• 2 oz Fresh Orange Juice (about 6.4 carbs)
• 2 oz Fresh Pineapple Juice (light juice has 3.5 carbs)
• 1 oz DeKuyper Banana Liqueur (8 carbs, or use ½ oz 99 Bananas for 4.05 carbs)
• 1 oz Light Rum
• 1 oz Malibu Coconut Rum (6.25 carbs, or use homemade for no carbs)
• Drizzle of Grenadine (very little carbs with homemade low carb version)
• Crushed Ice
Instructions:
1. Add the above ingredients to a shaker filled with crushed ice.
2. Shake for 10 seconds, strain into an ice filled vessel of your choice and enjoy.
After shaking, you just pour into the tiki mug with your chosen garnish and enjoy.
