That was awesome, I used to drive those streets everyday nearly 30 years ago. I also lived on 9W just as you drive north out of Saugerties, it was nice seeing that area again, thanks.
Thanks for sharing! You drove past a house on 9W that I lived in over 25 years ago! And I didn't realize that the paper mill was gone...it's been a long time...
Im chris lawless age 23 I just wanted to say thank you for this video i live in Pennsylvania i moved to be with my wife its been 3 years now since ive been in saugerties my home town it hurts not seeing my family or friends so seeing this video brings me joy :')
The house with the silver Volkswagen Jetta that you passed on the left at 5:02 was my childhood home and ever since October 2016 my dad and I had to move but not that far literally a few thousand yards onto Post Street with those duplex apartments near the St. Mary’s of the Snow church! My dad grew up and lived on Malden Turnpike like 5 minutes from the Cement Plant where he worked with his father. Awesome vid man as well as great trucking skills, and Mötley Crüe!
Narrow streets? This was essentially a run up Route 9W. I kept waiting for a turn at the upper end of the village, but no. Malden off Rt 9W? Nope. Maybe a left turn through the industrial part of town? No, again. None of the quaint narrow streets, just the main highway.
So much can change in just five years. Church doors at :39 are no longer red (about time), the bridge is no longer that ugly green (it's now ugly red), Uniforms USA has moved after years of being in the same spot, and we have newer traffic lights, haha. And I saw an old house I lived in too, so funny. But, yes, I feel bad for you guys every time I pass one of you on these turn and always wonder how you do it through Partition and Main.
Well you bet wrong. I go under both of those bridges on a daily basis. In fact, I park my truck at the Lehigh Cement plant located between both of those bridges. Don't assume every truck has the same clearance.
Holy damn trip down memory lane. Grew up in Northern NJ, had property in Bearsville and Saugerties...spent my childhood summers there. Great memories. Thanks for the video. Motley Crew was perfect for the video, as I spent most of the summers in the 80's-early 90's there. I now live in San Diego and haven't visited since 2013 when my grandfather passed away. Weird thing is that Im ready to leave CA and Im thinking of upstate as a possibility! If you're familiar with the area, we have property off of Patch Road and Nista Rd.
The truck sounds so badass
I love my little hometown, quaint, great people, beautiful scenery

Yup. And has been for a few years now

Yes because it's probably a bad idea to take the truck down the narrow roads, probably because of the low slung telephone wires.
