It was actually his wife who got the kid back, no throws involved. But he flagged down the cops and they got the deranged person. Imagine being that cop who's driving through the neighborhood and Joe frickin' Montana is flagging you down and giving you the play.

I went to high school with joes son and played football with him. I was one of the qbs on the team and joe was a really nice guy and gave me throwing tips and helped coach me. He was a great guy.
