It’s seems like everyone I play, plays behind the net strategy and wants me to chase them and pull a defensive player out of position for a wrap around or a cross crease. They get mad when I don’t chase them. I’m like dude I’m not going to give you an easy cheese goal. It felt like hockey a few weeks ago. I’t does not feel like hockey online when the best players just try to get cheese goals. Go back to the version one build of game and maybe don’t make behind the net goals a goal every time. I enjoyed the randomness of the game and goals
@@RIPJimmyA7X I never played hut before only Verses online. MY CR was like 550. I am in division 8 soon D7. First time playing HUT I love the game, but not happy with the tuner update. It seems to reward players who did not have success before because they did not want to change their ways to b e better. I was a cross-crease pro last year because passing is my best skill. I don't like the Trap or behind the net. In both cases players and not playing you, they are playing to get you out of position, to cheese goals.
@@AndrewAustin I completely agree, and ya I have gotten really good at getting the cross crease passes down the last 4 years or so and loved how I couldn't get them through this year. Tips and greasy goals were so satisfying now you just have the meta bishes circling in a corner waiting for cheese to open up. Also I'll tell you, if you are d 7 you don't want to move up lol it gets worse and worse each div. I was d1 last year and my word it was annoying so this year I went free to play and just am happy to hover between 5 and 6 because the players aren't AS bad at that bs as d1 and 2

For the most part, I agree what you told in this video. However, I think what lower-tier players should do first in order to improve is - go to free skate, work on your right stick control and puck possesion. I think it’s one of the most overlooked things. You cannot really perform any of these strategies if you don’t have confidence for not loosing the puck every time you try to breakout. Also, forced passes is one of the most frustrating things for newer players. Try playing squad battles on lower difficulty and cycle the puck both in D and O zone. Either way, nice vid Sleeve! I am so frustrated with my play. I play in hut champions and get obliterated. It makes it so you don’t want to play period. I have no hope as to thinking I will ever get better and seem to have regressed somehow…
I invested a ton of coins on the 83 cards at 4 k a card. Selling them was a piece of cake, now im stuck with them and worried to take a loss. Since the the event came out late, im selling nothing, will the market for the 83 go back to selling around 5k? Thanks
How often do you think a controller should be replaced? I mean obviously when they are clearly not working but do you think they lose their effectiveness over a certain amount of use?
I exchange 80 season collectable for the icon choice pack. I think I got the worst for real : 1- Rob Brin-d'amour 2- Pat Lafontaine 3- Ted Lindsey 4- Shane Doan 5- Darryl Sittler......... Like none of this guy do my team, I was so mad that I buy pack for 300k coins (all I have) and my best pull is 83..... thanks ea....
The puck is your best friend when you possess it, especially gwc touraments, hut champions and facing gc's and yung gren and eki (nhl gwc title threats, kings of vision control) Vision control: when you turn your body around when possessing the puck (leads to tripping penalties, annoying right, right and off the box you go) The counter for stick checking, also adding protect puck by pressing a and hold on to it with left stick to any direction.

The puck is your best friend (having the cookie makes you feel better). This is where vision control comes to play. You can do it by passing the puck (annoying, right) and then one-timer (pass and shoot), BANG! (goal scored by you)
Hey sleeves I only play nhl game or ea sports titles I’ve played this game since I was a kid I like playing it like normal hockey and FYI depending on ur cpus most don’t have ur team they don’t get in position like my Nate Mac or my Crosby they are just not offensively aware

Agree. People who are 'good' at this game are good for all the wrong reasons.

Right stick up and RB almost at the same time. Or just press start and look at it in controller settings
