Whatever you get paid, it's well deserved. Unlike a lot of streamers that literally play games for a living, you are putting in serious time and giving fantastic insight to people that are struggling or good players that need a tune up. Thank you for all you do. You may not be the best player in the world, but I'd argue that you are the best teacher there is, clear, concise, and you do not miss the details that good players forget. You are a great player and I'm not sure how you empathize with crappy players, not unlike myself. It's good to see real talent, putting in long hours of real work, become successful. Thank you for the service you provide! What really impressed me is how you are interviewing the developers of the game, you were getting into the details. Really working instead of trying to find glitch goals to post. which there’s nothing wrong with that but it’s separates the people that want to make a little bit of money and the professionals who do this for for a living.
Total control was a learning curve for me but honestly the charged up hitting is amazing. It took me a few days to get the timing / angles down but man… it’s getting fun. I’m pretty terrible online (0-0-4 in my play-in games) so I’m not as amped to play online but I’m trying to improve
I just want an option to favour shooting a loose puck in the o zone, rather than hit stick a close player with a loose puck nearby. Why isn't this in the settings yet
So my last complaint was in 23 could adjust strategies in FM. Well noticed when I’ve adjust them in the line up screen. It actually changed the strategies in 24

Fantastic video. Just what I needed. I've been playing since NHL 20...am comfortably in D2, but have been frustrated lately, and this video is awesome at fixing foundational errors. Would love to see a video on how and when to hit, as well as how to use Overload. What I will say, is taking my centreman down the middle and letting the AI do the brunt of the work, I'm going for hits less, but when I do they land. Keep up the great work dude. Love vids like these

If someone is over aggressive I use leaving zone early for odd man rushes and close support for the trap tends to get the opponent(not always) to get more aggressive and opens space. I haven’t bought 24 yet because of total control but maybe I need to give it a shot.
Man I gotta say that I played nearly every sports game but NHL is by far the most frustrating to play, like I legit can't score or defend on this game, the controls are also so counter-intuitive that I have to focus super hard to even click the right buttons

I’m a new player to NHL. Should I use total control or hybrid? I played NHL back in the day and I remember shooting with square. But everyone seems to use total control. Which one do most people use?
Two things I’m having problems with in the game. First in squad battles I get slashing or tripping penalties on players I’m not even controlling. Second you have said shoot far corner. I shoot but is there a way to aim exactly at high or low with the new controls?
I like total control but I can’t be the only one that hates changing lines on the fly. It’s practically impossible. You have to let go of the trigger so completely stop skating for a second or two in order to get your thumb on the dpad to change lines.
I wish this channel would bring up the major problems in Chel, especially 6v6 matchmaking which is terrible and never works. We need more attention drawn to this by popular channels like this. It will help a lot in getting it fixed. Please help 🙏🏻

Question: So just need clarification, what's the differences between different Offense lines? Like you have Line 1, but then they have different offense lines. Is that just different plays they set up for or how exactly does that work? Sry I'm slightly new to really getting into NHL games so tryin to understand as much as possible, thanks for the tips!!!
Anyone else having issues changes offense linens in total controls inbetween face offs? Can change d lines no prob but for some reason changing offensive lines it works when it wants to.

When using Total control, I get the puck back to the point & try to go for a wrist shot from the point towards the net & my player does the stupid forward check animation, which gets me stripped & possession going to the other team. Please help? 🙏🏻
Yep. It sucks. It's the reverse hit button unfortunately. You're gonna have to get used to going more easy on that right stick while shooting to avoid that. Honestly I don't even use the reverse it. I wish it was never in the game to begin with. It's a waste.
he will but sometimes he wont, so instead of trusting in the animation the best thing to do is to have an active stick, put your poke out and keep it on the opponents stick, if the puck carrier reads that you have the pass covered and attacks the net, pull your poke towards him and as soon as you land your poke on the poke you hit the opponents body. That is how I defend 2on1s. Cheers bud

The computer defense and back skating is awful they need to make the defensive computer players actually play defense and not just get blown by every time
This game is ridiculous it’s just back and forth no flow or the game shot after shot Iam holding a 4-1 lead in the second my teammates take 5 straight penalties the opposing team scored 8 straight goals , I mean it’s to much, computer waltz in in the zone with no resistance .
With all this "make it easy to score" bullshit i think im done with gaming this shit.... im having more fun playing my GameCube then this game....WHICH SUCKS csuse ea is the only company THAT CAN MAKE NHL GAMES....
love how the game takes 99 speed and makes it look like 81 speed. explain that bullshit and why the formations affect speed. you can feel the server on the other end from EA slowing the game on purpose. slowing your players on purpose. its rigged bullshit period. the inconsistancy of the way your players play from game to game is more bullshit... why get a 99 speed card when the game just slows it down to nothing anyway. last year playing hut... think ill try MLB i wish it wasnt ea.
CAM doesnt have the balls to answer hard questions or get full answers from EA or clappy to hard questions. like why my hustle didnt work in game one of my loss of squad battles. or how and 88 team can outskate my best players (mcdavid and mckinnon) at full energy.... so my cards are rendered meaningless. answer that even though i know you wont. by the way i have a god squad but that meant nothing in this game.

Best to understand each strategy and where the CPUs are programmed to be. Follow them, not expecting them to follow you

I have just changed all this up hope it helps I find I can move the puck and everything else but in the offence zone not a lot of points

youre clicking the right stick too hard when shooting. R3 is the reverse hit

Pass assist on 100 sucks In my opinion. The serious try hards have it on about 80/100. You can create weird plays that can’t be done with 100/100.

This game sucks. They destroyed it. Hitting is absolutely atrocious. Just clumsy. Pressure meter is stupid. Guaranteed goal every time.
