    Whatever you get paid, it's well deserved. Unlike a lot of streamers that literally play games for a living, you are putting in serious time and giving fantastic insight to people that are struggling or good players that need a tune up. Thank you for all you do. You may not be the best player in the world, but I'd argue that you are the best teacher there is, clear, concise, and you do not miss the details that good players forget. You are a great player and I'm not sure how you empathize with crappy players, not unlike myself. It's good to see real talent, putting in long hours of real work, become successful. Thank you for the service you provide! What really impressed me is how you are interviewing the developers of the game, you were getting into the details. Really working instead of trying to find glitch goals to post. which there’s nothing wrong with that but it’s separates the people that want to make a little bit of money and the professionals who do this for for a living.

    It would be awesome if you could do a strategies video for Squad battles. I’m having more trouble scoring this year with how the AI collapses around the net and body checks super aggressively.
    I win for the most part, but getting +5 goals and 20 shots isn’t a sure thing for me. Dumping the puck seems to help. But sometimes there’s the same feeling as 23 where the computer is going to get the puck no matter what you do. I can’t quite protect the puck like I used to.

    How do you control where you’re shots are aimed? Is it just with the sticks? Or is there a specific button to hold while shooting?

    • @vinokai
      @vinokai Месяц назад

      You have better control once you move the right stick to the left or right, this kinda puts you in glide mode allowing better control with the left stick for aiming. You’ll want to be passing the puck very often, as you want to force the goalie to move around a lot, eventually they’ll get worn out and that will make the chances of scoring much higher.

  • @justTitan-1
    @justTitan-1 Год назад

    I actually really like the 2-3 forecheck - but you have to manually control the strong-side D to deny the easy breakout up the boards, and leave the F1 and F2 to the AI to create chaos. It's probably not as effective against better opponents who know to reverse the puck behind the net, but against your average/below average opponents, they aren't going to know what to do under pressure with their strong side winger unavailable on the breakout. They're only ever looking/moving forward, and passing behind them/their own net is rarely something they consider.

    I’ve always done the quick breakout the opposite way. If someone is over aggressive I use leaving zone early for odd man rushes and close support for the trap tends to get the opponent(not always) to get more aggressive and opens space. I haven’t bought 24 yet because of total control but maybe I need to give it a shot.

    Again the sliders are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!! Put it all the way on energy and watch all 4 lines be red half way through a period. Put it on efficiency and they stay green and skate like slugs!!! That one I leave dead in the middle. Dump and carry- carry your AI will wait to cross line, dump they will sprint across with you occasionally going offsides. Cycle shoot- cycle your AI will glide and be prepared to catch a pass, shoot they will plant in an area and be prepared to shoot a one timer. Block no block- block your AI will get in the goalies way and block shots, no block your AI will let the goalie see the shot and move. The sliders matter big time. I personally have messed around a bit and I’ve landed on 5-5-5-3. I leave them all in middle and block shots on 3 so most of the time it’s me manually blocking a shot if I need to. Cycle shoot and dump carry are important too. All the way carry and behind the net is not as effective I leave it at 5. And cycle shoot at 5 makes the AI less predictable and creates more scoring possibilities instead of just going for the same cheese over and over which a skilled player will defend.

    I'm new to playing NHL, and I'm getting my ass kicked. I've always played Fifa, so I have understanding of opening formations, and goalkeeper but I'm still getting beat by the keeper. Then after get destroyed on the counter-attack....Do you coach people? I want to get better at this game...

    not related to hut, but you were talking about AI so it got me thinking. Our AI in EASHL had 6 penalties in a 6v6 game. They are guaranteed for 2 or 3 a game

    Does your player not make interception animations in world of chel either?

      he will but sometimes he wont, so instead of trusting in the animation the best thing to do is to have an active stick, put your poke out and keep it on the opponents stick, if the puck carrier reads that you have the pass covered and attacks the net, pull your poke towards him and as soon as you land your poke on the poke you hit the opponents body. That is how I defend 2on1s. Cheers bud
