There are a few curiosities in this story, mainly involving the wedding.
First, how was the paperwork signed within the same state when polygamy is outlawed in the West? And how is the father's family still employed when their house of cards (cause the parents knew about the double life, having been at both weddings) would come tumbling down when OP's lawyer brought the first wife to testify during the divorce.
