man im so glad i seen this.i thought i had the wrong part or somethin ha. good to see that it is the right steel seal and is possible . much appreciated
Glad it wasn't just me lol It took me about 4 hours to put in the same seal. The worst part is that there's no backing ring to bottom it out so you can put in the seal too far and have to start over again. There's also very little room to work.
bro yes!!!!! It's always a pain in the ass but this time it really got to me lol!
I'm learning soo much.. thank you
Glad you are! Thanks for the feedback!
your videos are lot of helpful. keep going on!!!
Thank you man! Really appreciate the feedback!
Great video brotha, I dread swapping mine out, im waiting on getting my twin disk so I can do it all at once
Been down that road too many times brother 😡 Little by little...👍🏼
Just one of those days where we say oh this is simple.... haha it never is lol!
You the man!
Can you make a video on how to put the evo on jack stands like u have done Ive not seen a single video showing how to jack up the evo and point out all the possible jacking points thanks you.
My driver side axle's leaking. was hoping It'd go away with the new axle, but looks like I'm going back in to change that seal. I REALLY don't wanna do it but I'm watching this vid to motivate me lmao
haha you got this!
Dope video as always bro, we've all been there when sh*t don't go your way lol 🙈🙈. Peace G 🤙🏻
Literally ran into all your same struggles when I did mine on my X. Couldn’t find the right size socket and went with PVC pipe. Still took hours to get it straight. There has to be an easier way to do this job. Factory tool?
👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥 keep it up
Thanks sis!

Would it help to put the seal in the freezer for 2 hours before installing?
So would I be able to replace a rear fender if it has rust
If it's the rear it will be the entire quarter panel but yes it can be done bro! Cars can be restored completely!
So was this leaking trans oil ? Cause that’s what mine is doing and I just bought all the seals for my t-case to replace them all
No gear oil from the t case
did you grease the outside and inside of the seal? im bout to do this on my 10 and it looks identical.
Yep grease everything you can and pray hahaha
@@ChrisGoorbarry dude you aint kiddin i damaged it trying to get it out mustve went in too much, on my 2nd seal going at it this weekend i ordered a backup one too im praying to all the evo gods
Hey bro hows your epoxy floor holding up?
Man super good! I made an update video on the floor. ruclips.net/video/t4GLqDk_F7o/видео.html
Thanks for the info bro!
this video made me realize that I think my car doesn't have that seal or possibly mine is going bad.
Just check if it's leaking through there if it is then you might need to change it.
Ditto down to red Evo 😂
