I am making a compilation too, and I used the HD clean version of the 2005 countdown and put the countdown numbers of a low quality full version on top.
BBC Countdowns & Intros I have a full 2007 countdown in decent quality and good fps, you could just use the numbers from that.
BBC World Countdown 2003 still available on Dailymotion and Vimeo.

There is a video "news 24 tonight opening titles 2007" with a hq 53 sec. version of the 2006 countdown.
BBC Countdowns & Intros the numbers blur together a bit so i didnt use it
