Bob is a legend, check out all of his stuff!!! "Against the wind" "Turn the Page", "Like a Rock" and about 100 more!!!!!!!
"Turn The Page" 100%
Against the Wind - 100%
Against The Wind & Turn The Page are my favorites by him. An amazing musician for sure!
You didn't notice that this song was chopped up and mangled by someone? I've never heard this terribly edited version
@@wendymotogirl yeah, a lot was left off, agree
Bob Seger is a great rock singer, songwriter & musician known for his raspy powerful voice. He wrote & recorded songs that dealt with love, women & blue-collar themes. He had so many great songs especially in the 70's-80's such as "Turn The Page", "Mainstreet", "Still The Same", "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man", "Hollywood Nights", "Against The Wind", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Shame On The Moon", "Roll Me Away", "Like A Rock", "Shakedown", "We've Got Tonight", "Old Time Rock & Roll" etc.
pick a Bob Seger song at random and it will probably be good
Lets not forget, "Ain't Got No Money". When I first heard that song on the jukebox, I just had to buy the album.
@@true1evanique Katmandu.....is often overlooked.....rock classic.
@@martinlepper4522 for a semester, that was my wake up song. Back when clock radio cassette players were a thing.
Loved that thing.
Got me up and toe tapping in the shower while it was still dark out and the rest of the house was quiet.
Shit, I've known that for 40yrs!!!
The tune is actually really bittersweet. He’s an older man remembering the high school days ( that’s why it’s a song from 1962 he hums when remembering). The autumn closing in isn’t only the end of summer in the high school years but him getting older in life. That’s what makes that big break a capella verse slow down near the end happen before they bring it back. And the background singers take us to church.
Yep... 100%
You hit that on the head buddy thanks
Came here to say the same. First listened to this song at 16, now 60 and it hits even stronger..
Bob is one of the greatest RockNSoul singers EVER.
I LOVE SEGER!!!!! You can't go wrong with Seger. His catalog is great and diverse! Again Seger is 🔥. Great reaction!
You can't love him that much if you didn't notice that this song is chopped up and edited really terribly.
Seger had to drink tequila with Matt Leblanc (Joey). He was so nervous and Seger got him through it.
You opened the Bob Seger faucet and now your obligated to listen to greatness. Song after song and you won't be disappointed.
Great reaction!
He had better start with the actual real version of this song. I don't know what this was but It certainly wasn't the original
@@wendymotogirl I hear you , and then to cut it off prematurely is sacrilege .
Good one. Courtney Cox did a Springsteen video.
To add to that, Leblanc said in an interview that he was borderline trashed during most of the filming.
Leblanc said he was feeling really well in this video
Against The Wind, Fire Down Below, Turn The Page, Come to Poppa. You can't go wrong with any of his songs
Yes come to papa
I second🤚 all songs mentioned !!
Don't forget "her strut", "9 tonight", and "Mainstreet"
One of my all-time favorite artists. "Main Street" "Like a Rock" "Turn the Page" "Against the Wind" "Turn the Page" and so many more! I think my most favorite has to be "Fire Lake". Thank you for your reaction and your appreciation for a true GOAT!!
I love Old Time Rock and Roll!
“Roll Me Away” is his best song. Seger is an absolute legend.
Bob Seger is a LEGEND
I saw him in concert again for the 3rd time in 2019. He was 75 and still put on a hell of a show
Bob Seger definitely has a Hall of Fame voice!
Seger is awesome
I was lucky enough to see him in concert in 1978. It was the best concert I’ve ever been to. Such an amazing voice 💙
Same year I saw him, in Buffalo NY
I've heard this song my whole life (I'm 41) and I still get goosebumps
A great rabbit hole to crawl into. Love me some Bob Seger......one of my favs!
Seger has a PHENOMENAL list of music man, very hard to go wrong.
"Turn the Page", about a musician's life on the road...
"Main Street" & "Like a Rock", both are beautifully nostalgic & I'd bet money you'd recognize "Like A Rock".
Bob's truly legendary. More please!
💙🌿💙🌿💙🌿💙🌿💙
Bob singing Turn the Page!👍🏻❤️
Nothing better than a Seger song. ♥One of my all time favorites. ♥
Seger has a massive catalog of hits. Continue down the rabbit hole and you will discover slow ballads and hard driving rockers.
Bob Seger is a freaking legend!!! His voice is beyond amazing!! I'm not sure any of his songs aren't fire🔥🔥🔥💯
He is one of the best singer songwriter of all time.
Yes…his voice will make you cry. Made in Michigan.
It's Bob See' ger and the Silver Bullet Band. From the Detroit Michigan area. He played clubs for years and finally put together a fabulous band of players from various southeast Michigan musicians - including keyboardist/pianist Craig Frost who had grown up in my hometown of Flint, Michigan and was a founding member and longing member of Grand Funk Railroad (We're An American Band) fame.
Bob is a great guy and Michigan musicians all support each other. It's a subculture that is pure American...
The entire Night Moves album is fire 🔥🔥. But my most favorite song of his is called “someday” no official video and it’s not super well known but it literally speaks to me. You really can’t go wrong with any of his stuff
Someday is my favorite too! So good!
He's actually more in the 80s rock genre. He's a GOAT
His stuff from his first hit, Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, in 1969 to 80 is super dope as well, he just didn't have National Airplay until this song and album ~ You can't go down the Bob rabbit hold without going to the mid-60's, you just miss so much......
@Kelly Craig-Slogar I was just saying because he had it labeled as country 😆 but yes you are right his really stuff, all his stuff is awesome 👌
Bob Seger is one of my favorites.
Main Street, Running Against The Wind, We’ve Got Tonight…he wrote and recorded some of the best music of the 70’s and 80’s. Please keep them coming!
Mr. Seger is a LEGEND
Just wait until you hear him belt out "Main Street". It never fails to give me nostalgia chills!
There has never been a bad…..Bob Seger song….ever ! Bob Seger is DNA to me, the best the USA has to offer period, Bob is America !!!!!
You are in for an awesome journey with Bob Seger. Great talent. So many hits
You just struck musical gold my man. Every song is great. I've seen him 10 times from 1980 to 2019, sounded just as good the last time as the first.
Bob is gonna give you some good content, he’s a legend. A few to listen to would be Main Street, Against the wind, Turn the page, Hollywood nights, and many more. Enjoy as I have for many years. His stuff is timeless and so relatable.
I can't wait till you do turn the page. And listen to the lyrics
I saw him in concert a couple of years ago. He’s still great.
I loved your reaction to our Bob. He is special to so many people.😊❤
This man is incredible in concert as well.. the obvious next song some might say is Hollywood Nights, but I might suggest Roll Me Away instead.. it's transformative ❤️💖! If you like Bob check out John Fogerty ! He's pretty sweet too
Love Hollywood Nights but you can't go wrong with any of his stuff.
Roll Me Away is my absolute favorite by him!!
@@sherribrock2726 mine as well! And when I saw him live perform it... 💖 It just took me THERE!!!💞💞💞💞
She had her own points, up firm and high! In the back of his 60 Chevy! i'm glad you finally got there! Ha!Ha!Ha! I love your detective cap, your a young Sherlock Holmes!
❤Bob Seger. Welcome to the rabbit hole!
He helped get me through the disco eara. Thanks Bob.
Truth
Bob....one of my all time favorites ❤
We've Got Tonight takes me straight back to my Junior Prom. It was the Prom theme and I'm sure a lot of us made the most of that night. A couple of bars of music and the years fall away and I'm 16 again . That is what great music is all about.
My favorites of Bob Seger is You'll Accompany Me and Come To Papa!! AMAZING!!
Bob is a legend… Awesome reaction! The actor in the video is Matt LeBlanc who played Joey in the sitcom Friends!
Bob Seger and the silver bullet band is a musical experience unlike any other artist you listen too! Relatable for every living human ❤️ Soundtracks of my life
That actor is Matt Leblanc from friends. Old video. He’s great was lucky enough for twice seeing in concert. Wonderful singer😊
Saw him live twice, the second time was a first date with my wife of 25 years. One of the best live performers ever!
Seen him a few times awesome!!
In my youth I went to any Bob Seger concert within 1000 miles of my home in Texas! He was a beast! I was actually pulled off this man by his security more than once! Lol
Songs of my youth! He's a national treasure! Not a bad song in his diverse catalog IMHO. And one of my best concerts ever! Sooo many memories.
This is the music I grew up with. Bob is an amazing story teller as well as a singer. He always transports me to another place and time when he sings.
Any and every song from Bob Seger (pronounced see-gur) is well worth your time! You've probably heard a few from soundtracks and commercials (Like a Rock features in quite a few truck ads, plus Old Time Rock-n-Roll). Listen to the suggestions here, or just stroll down his catalogue. You won't be disappointed. Personally, I'd like to see you react to "Shame on the Moon" and "Katmandu", with "We've Got Tonight" as a sweet dessert ;)
I loved this song when it came out. I was too young to understand the lyrics and obviously my mother was paying attention. Still one of my all-time favorite songs.
Bob Segar is a great storyteller, a lost and dying art.
Bob Seeeeeger is how it's sounds and he has plenty of greats
He had soooo many good songs I can't even name them all!!
Love Bob Seger (pronounced Seeger). There are so many songs you will love! Like a Rock, Turn the page, Old Time Rock & Roll just to name a few!
Segar went off the road for over 10 years to do the ‘family thing’…
His first concert was at the Charleston Coliseum in West Virginia….
It was AMAZING! The fact that it was his first show in over a decade made it so special… I was on the 3rd row and it was awesome to see the pure joy while he performed.
It was a special show for me… but I guarantee ya, it was special for Bob too!
“Like a Rock”. Also: 40 seconds into the video and he’s in the hall of fame. Is that a record?😂
Please do more Bob!! He is amazing!!
Always up for some Bob!!!
Welcome to the Bob Seger ( pronounced See -Ger ) world of AMAZING songs !!!! You can not go wrong with Bob !!!! No bad songs in my opinion...lol /////// Mainstreet....Like a Rock....Turn the Page....Roll me away......Come to Poppa....Still the Same....Old time Rock & Roll....We've got tonight....Shame on the moon.....SO MANY GREAT SONGS !!!!!!!
This is one of the deepest rabbit holes you will ever go down!!!!
Seger is unmatched and his storytelling are the soundtracks of all our lives!!
"Come to Papa" by Bob Seger -> hot tip With "You'll Accomp'ny Me" being at the top of the hot list also. Bob cranked out one hot hit after another. So happy to have seen him live in concert. He put on one hell of a show.
You got the truncated version of song. Sacreligious! Please do the full version
My favorite Bob Seger song, which is saying something because I could list you 20+ just as good.
Love Bob Seger. Surely you know his voice from the old Chevy ads. "Like a Rock" He talent is underrated for sure.
Bob Seger is legendary..check out like a rock..walking in memphis, cant go wrong
You should listen to what I consider one of the best Rock tunes ever, Hollywood Nights. Also, Old Time Rock and Roll and We've got tonight. They are all brilliant.
His catalog is HUGE
One of Bob's biggest hits 'Like a rock' was used in Chevy truck commercials for several years. Bob is from Michigan & we used to go watch him in local venues, before he made it big, when I was a teen. Check out one of the many hits I see others have suggested. He has a ton of great music. He is older & his hair is gray, however he sounds exactly the same & is still touring.
Thank you for liking my aspirations and being one of my biggest fan, hope you don’t stop someday?
Hard to find a Bob Seger song that isn't playlist worthy. His music is superb.
Old time rock & roll & like a rock are must listen to of his.
Saw them in the 80's in Tallahassee FL ❤️ all I can say is WOW!!
I love that you loved this song 🔥 loving your reactions
Song is a time machine. Takes me back to the teenage years.
Of course it's the best voice you ever heard. Bob Seger is amazing.
"Turn the Page" is not only one of his best but one of the best period. I haven't seen anyone in the comment section mention "Old Time Rock-n-Roll" yet, AB you'd definitely had to have heard that one before.
Thank you for liking my aspirations and being one of my biggest fan, hope you don’t stop someday?
Check out Bob and Jason Aldean live on stage singing together. Awesome! I had all of Bob's music on 8 track tapes in my car lol. He has aged wonderfully!!
That song brings back a lot of memories lol
Turn the page
Against the wind
Roll me away
Rock and roll never forgetd
i've come to realize Bob Seger is a "Soul singer", for real......
He's IN! YAAAYY!!
Great reaction as always AB!
I remember smoking pot with my dad for the first time and this song playing on the radio in his shop. My dad only sang the started humming a song from 1962 part. I was 16.
Her Strut is one of my personal favorites of his.
Growing up in detroit in the 70s Bob is just in my blood.. love him soo much.. He has some awesome older stuff people never seem to hear.. like "Momma"
Bob is great and his band. Kathmandu, Betty Lou's Getting Out Tonight, Roll Me Away, Like a Rock, so many hits
“Like a Rock” is my favorite…….but he had soooo many great songs!👍
Against The Wind, Still the Same, Turn the Page, The Famous Finel Scene
Bon Seger, Detroit boy, unbelievable. You need to listen to more, he's incredible.
Honestly, I'm not a particularly enthusiastic fan of Bob's overall catalogue (so sue me), but this song right here is one of the most compelling and memorable songs I have ever heard. Pretty darn close to perfect, and I will always listen to the end, if I come across it.
You should check out the live version of Turn the Page-you won’t believe it’s live, it’s that good. The two times I saw Seger in concert he got 5 minute standing ovations for Turn the Page…
One of the very greats
btw. The best song performance of the night Turn The Page with the saxophone in that awesome theater....the sound was off the charts!
The “actor” is Matt LeBlanc from Friends. Look up his top gear interview when he talks about making this video
Man. Sooooo many more hits from this rock and roll legend
Bob Seger had great songs and tremendous songs. Pick almost anything he did from 1974 through 1984 and you will get a great song. My first suggestion is "Roll Me Away" followed by "Like a Rock."
