I have always been a huge supporter of our troops. I’m a women and was raised very conservative and Christian. But after the fall of Afghanistan I started doing a lot of research about Afghanistan and the rest of the war torn countries. I always believed everything the media told us about Islam. That all Muslims are terrorists. I was absolutely disgusted when I seen the videos of our troops( and other countries troops) being animals and abusing and murdering innocent civilians just because they could. Someone of those men are monsters. The torture of men, women and children. The “war on terror” was nothing of what Bush said it was. We invaded an innocent country that is none of our business.
I can now say, while I am still very conservative, I am now a Muslim Mashallah. I am so heartbroken for all the innocent lives that were taken on both sides for a senseless war. I am heartbroken for the continued detention and torture for the men still being held without charges or trial for being “terrorists” when there is no proof.
Welcome and stay blessed. All the best.

Alhamdulillah .Welcome to the true path sister. Do something for our palestinian brothers and sisters if u can. Happy Ramadan.
My heart is so broken 💔 and cry out loud reading your text ....somehow I can feel the pain of those innocent people from AFGANISTAN or Iraq that the YANKESS invaded
It's brutal how Muslims are represented in the movie.. They are the nicest people
The Hollywood is a biased industry always twisted and manipulated the facts/reality and always depicts/shows us the opposite of the things in their flicks, especially the ones which are related to 9/11, Islam/Quran/Jihad & terrorism etc. These Yankees are fooling the entire world for last two decades through their pop culture medium.
Yes.... They are the nicest
Umm..yea surely they are. Cool
Hmm.. yes. Of course the NicEst
Biggest joke 😂😂😂😂
The movie wasn't about a woman falling in love, there wasn't even a HINT of that. It was about a millitary personnel realizing that their enemy is human (and not all bad which is hard to admit), questioning their purpose, and being stuck in a very difficult position between the role of guarding the detainees and realizing that the treatment given to them is wrong.
Exactly
Still shows why women shouldn't be there.
Gotta get views somehow haha, I really liked this recap so no harm no foul
But they're not human. And they certainly don't view westerners as human either.
Hey man clickbait works
A number of guards at gitmo actually reverted to Islam due to the conduct of the prisoners, who were more at peace than the guards themselves! 🇵🇰❤️🇵🇰

Did they also blow themselves up or fly planes into buildings?? 😂😂😂
Also, how proud were you that bin Laden was hiding in 🇵🇰 ?!? 😂😂😂😂
Fact.. interviews over utube
Well, if this is the abuse they are showing in their movies , which are being produced by themselves. Imagine how much abuse they have been doing to prisoners in reality !
Exactly the reality/facts are always different (esp. The one which is showed in this video) and opposite of what is being showed/depicted in mass pop culture.

@@disistheway2679there are numerous Al-Jazeera, Wikileaks, VOA & PEW research center reports/sources have confirmed that the detainees/prisoners held at Abu Gharib (Iraq) and Gitmo (Cuba) had suffered the worst form of mental & physical abuse/torture and mass human rights violation by the hands of US military personnel, all those Iraqi captives at the Abu Gharib were forced to strip butt naked (like a bar stripper) and dance in an erotic fashion while masturbating simultaneously (till they ejaculates), and if they doesn't comply there were takedown teams assigned there to make them do such cheap & dirty stuff (by the use of brute force), other thing in the American torture list/routine included: the captives were chained/shackled nude to the ceiling fence for days even for weeks sometimes (until their wrists & shoulders dislocated), they were waterboarded, blasted with cold waterjets, and even urinated on their heads (wrapped in a piece of thick cloth) and shoved inside a commode while two US MPs standing and pissing over them, and much more inhumane stuff happened there which would be alot difficult to share here.

What makes me saddened is the fact that there were innocent Arabs in the US that were detained just for the simple fact of being Arabian, my dad's last week in the US was when 9/11 hit (he was studying at MIT and finished early with high marks and honor), he described to me how people looked and gazed at him differently after "It" happened, when he took an airplane so that he could go back to Saudi Arabia (of course not directly) people were so scared of him that they literally requested the staff to change seats away from him.
Alhamdulilah that my dad didn't stay any further in the US, things would've been different and he probably would've gotten abused and discriminated against.
well one one person fucks up everyone needs to be looked at pretty simple logic sucks that innocents got hurt but its worth in the end to find out whos bad and whos not. maybe and this is going to sound harsh people that left the middle east because their country was bad should have stayed and fought to fix it
@@zzmr_stretchzz8772 Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Emirates, Dubai, are a bunch of many examples of modernized and progressed countries from the middle east.
I do agree however that people from these countries might depart for educational purposes because they seek a more "specialized" and "advanced" educational services, but I do not agree that they depart because their country is "broken" because its not, most Arabs return back to their countries due to the simple fact that they prefer the benefits of living in Saudi Arabia/Kuwait/Bahrain/etc over living in places like the US where not even hospital bills are free and the oil prices are so high you might aswell ride a horse.
summing it up: Middle Easterns are having it way better than most foreign countries and even better than the States, this is a shocker I know but the only reason we would consider going to a foreign country is to pursue educational purposes and to get a more advanced degree in a certain criteria.
@@zzmr_stretchzz8772 and we should bare in mind that people departing for better education are the few that get marks so high they need special education under special people, and those people can be from anywhere even from the US.

Although I don't count myself lucky I think I was blessed with my experiences as a medic in the Gaza Strip and Mosul in 2014 and 2017. I left with severe CPTSD but I have met the most beautiful souls over there and I'd do it all over again. I love this movie because of the realistic portrayal of the double standards and dehumanization especially of non-Americans. It was the same when I served over there. You're send there as a young medic for IMC with volunteers specialized in their own field. In the beginning it was hard to communicate with locals. You see people having arguments, you wonder why they're so frustrated all the time but when they start to trust you, you'll notice that the experience of people is the exact opposite of what the media tells you. I helped in the aftermath of 2 airstrike events. One led by the Israeli military operation and the other by U.S. coalition forces. I still remember the total frustration of local NGO's in Mosul where the death toll was so high that fights broke out between U.S. army personel and local volunteers. I still think that AirWars did a great job when it comes to the death toll given by the NGO's but I'm sure a lot of reports were classified, because the numbers did not add up, not only in Mosul but also in the Gaza Strip. You really start to look different at these people after such events. That look of pure despair when people lose family members but also the look of pure hope after reuniting with their loved ones, after we pulled them out of the rubble. The feeling of throwing up when you see a father hold his little child in the air, their entire lower body blown off due too the blast of airstrikes and the blood gushing out of their body. The grey area where you see good people become bad people after their home is bombed by foreign countries. To either retaliate or find peace. I was invited to eat with some of their families man it still makes me cry. I received gifts and flowers from some of their children. I can't describe how hard it is to find out that you sometimes shared a meal with people that died shortly after. The pain becomes so agonizing that every memory, every image and even smell causes you too break down, to the point it feels almost impossible to eat, drink and even stand up. After a while you realize that our politicians use Hollywood, the mass media and even games (COD) as a means to justify the chaos they have created over there. That they use it to invade countries, assasinate leaders, steal natural resources and not give back profits to locals, even classify documents of airstrike reports and vilify refugees. I still have nightmares on a daily basis, the screams and the feeling of almost being completely numb and knowing you won't receive justice. I soon have a appointment for ECT treatment but I'm still doubting if I should go through with it.
Thank you for sharing the truth. So hurt breaking. May God give them justice and hold the evils of this world accountable. God be with you I hope you find peace soon.
You must be such a great person for not ignoring the bitter truth that so many of us having been screaming about at the top capacity of our lungs. We need more people like you to keep the facts alive and wash the propaganda. At the end of the day everyone wants to be able to live in their home with dignity and peace. It’s just different ways in which our struggles are showcased based on our color/religion/race eyc

It isn’t controversial m8, Prisoners were kidnapped for no crimes simply because of their faith and ethnicity and tortured, starved and humiliated with no power of their own fate. A fact. The fact that you call it controversial makes you either ignorant or a piece of sh$te.

You forgot to mention a very important part of the movie. The reason Ali wants to read the HP book is to finally find out if Snape is a good or bad guy. He says Snape's character confuses him and he doesn't really know on which side he stands. This is a metaphor for Ali himself, in the beginning of the movie we don't know what kind of person he is, but as soon as he mentioned Snape (and having read HP myself) I knew he would turn out to be a righteous person that somehow got caught in a bad situation, which will ultimately determine the course of his entire life without him being able to do anything to change it.

After 9/11 the US put bounties on suspected terrorists or members of Al Qaeda. In Afghanistan this lead to a bunch of poor farmers turning in innocent people who fit descriptions just to cash in the bounties. The US then put all suspected terrorists without a trial in Guantanamo and began torturing them. You had no trial, you were disappeared and tortured for information that never stopped once stopped a terrorist attack.

Suicide is a grave sin and forbidden in Islam. The reason is that God is the Creator of all human life and His divine right in giving and taking life cannot be violated. Human beings have been entrusted their lives by God and are obligated for their care and safe keeping. While God forbids suicide, He also assures His servants that turning to their Creator when misfortune should befall them will bring them out of every misery. In Chapter 4, verse 30, of the Holy Quran, God says:
“And kill not yourselves. Surely, Allah is Merciful to you.”
A person that chooses to end his life foregoes his chance to receive the mercy of his Lord because he has died in the act of crime. The Holy Quran reminds us consistently that God has promised great reward for those that bear hardship with patience.
