It was amazing when I found out that I could make marshmallows when I was young.
And I was also surprised it has only several ingredients, sugar, corn syrup, and gelatin.
How can those ingredients be changed like this? Then I thought I can do it.
I think this is one of the most interesting snacks. Is it just for me?😆 ᄒᄒᄒ
Well, I don’t like to make it normal, no matter what.
This time, I made it into a heart shape.
And I put a lot of coconut powder on it, so I'm gonna say it's nutty(?) You know what I meant.
It's not a special recipe, but... You put it in the mold, you harden it.
you have to know a couple of points. Keep it in order to make it looks pretty,
Melt butter and grease the silicone molds thinly, dry them, then, squeeze marshmallow.
If you don’t keep up with this...
You'll find yourself ripping out the marshmallows. (My experience? …😆…may be…)
I recommend you to use powdered gelatin because you need to know how much water is used.
But if you're going to use leaf gelatin, use the same amount as powder.
Make it bloom in cold water for 5 to 10 minutes and squeeze loosely and melt it to use.
I increased the water to bloom the gelatin in this recipe.
Normally, people use 5 times of water, but I add 6 times.
So, it's a little soft and less chewy.
If you use leaf gelatin, it'll harden a little bit faster.
When boiling sugar syrup, make sure to boil to 116 degrees Celsius.
The higher temperature will make the syrup thicker and mess your marshmallow batter.
I reduced sugar in this recipe.
Please be careful because the texture will change if you reduce sugar more.
Marshmallow is an originally sweet snack. Just enjoy it.
It's easy to make, but it tastes so good and pretty. Make marshmallow now~!
Ingredients
♥︎ Marshmallow
10g Powdered gelatin + 60g Coldwater
40g Corn syrup
50g Sugar
40g Corn syrup
30g Water
♥︎ Dusting Powder
90g Icing Sugar
60g corn starch
(The ratio of 3:2)
Coconut powder or Shredded coconut is also fine.
A bit of melted butter to grease silicon

Heart Shape Chocolate Silicone Mold
Revgen Handmixer
Luminarc Cocoon ball
Rock and Rock Glass Ball

Very nice recipe for marshmallow hearts 💝 I would like to make these, but I have some questions about sugar in the recipe that I can help with. You mention in the description that you have already reduced the amount of sugar and I am therefore wondering how sweet these marshmallows really are? I will be making these for some kids so maybe I need to add more sugar? I know the kids love the very sweet ones that you get in the store, so I would like to make something similar that is close to the same sugary taste. If I have to put more sugar in it, how much do you recommend? And if I add more sugar, do I have to change something else in the recipe at the same time? Thank you in advance 🤗

I tried many times. They’re always harden so fast. :( I already immediately transfer the batter to the piping bag and after one or two hearts, I couldn’t pipe the batter into the mold anymore. Btw why the setting time is so long like 40mins? I thought the marshmallows is set and get harden pretty fast. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

😅 if then.. you can use agave syrup, golden syrup, or honey like Acacia honey . But your marshmallow will be not pure white. 😁

마시멜로우를 밀어펴시기보단 얕은 팬에 유산지를 깔고 전분과 슈가파우더 섞은것을 골고루 꼼꼼히 더스팅 해 주신 후, 마시멜로우 반죽을 부어 평평하게 펼치고 다시 파우더섞은걸 뿌려 덮어 굳히세요. 다 굳었을때 찍어내시면 될것 같아요.^^ 찍어낸 테두리는 다시 더스팅 해주세요. ^^
