    Thank you so much for this super helpful video, Jamaica! I'm also working towards my TX exam (next week)--I feel a bit lost...other videos/content/info I've found on prepping for your license indicates you can seemingly do all of the things (schedule exam, get fingerprints/background check, etc) in random order, but none of the info I've received or found clearly states how to do this. Do you have any advice--for example, I've just scheduled my exam and need to get fingerprints (my resources have shown me where to do this), but no one ever mentioned needing a service code to secure scheduling...did you have to obtain this to schedule? Did you do this before your exam?

    • @lovesylvia2621
      @lovesylvia2621 2 года назад

      Hi Blair, you may have already completed this but yes you do need a code that only TREC can give you. You will receive it once you have submitted the real estate application to TREC. You go online to their website and apply for Real Estte license.This needs to be done first in order for you to schedule your exam date. I just passed my test so if you need further help, i’m happy to help!!

    What is the difference between state and national? Are they separate sections on the exam?

    • @jamaicaperry1777
      @jamaicaperry1777  2 года назад

      Yes they are separate sections! If you pass one and fail the other, than you’ll only have to retake the one you failed.

    How long did it take you to finish the 180 hours?

    • @jamaicaperry1777
      @jamaicaperry1777  2 года назад +1

      Roughly 6-8 weeks. The first section took the longest, but after I got my strategy down, I finished it in 6.

      @J a m a i c a P e r r y Thank you. Going through the course online with the CE SHOP. The reading is slightly brutal; it is a lot with no teacher or videos. But I am pushing. 😉😊

    Many questions did you have and did the prep help you? Was it really hard?

      The state exam was not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. It really depends on your studying strategy and how you retain the information. The Prep book I recommended was spot on!

      From my experience, Champions is a great school when it comes to understanding and learning the legal aspects of Real Estate, but the prep book and prep exams are just for practice, I almost passed on my 1st try, usually goes in with learning, trying, and never giving up.
