I had to come back to this video but I finally got around to building my minibike. I used those collars just like you used but I got a set of xr200 forks, using the collars was a great idea!

This build is what I've always what I wanted to do with a mini bike! Don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet but that extra bushing in the front pulley of the stock torque converter is probably a governor.
I had this same idea, upgrading to pit bike forks. the links to the collars dont work any more but at least i know they exist and my idea is doable! thanks for the video
The bike i put together has a full suspension. the rear shock is vary stiff but even having a small movement that can happen on the rear tire makes it ride vary smooth.
Fram use to be a high standard for filters, then they got cheap and put less filtration in. Wix, Honeywell, etc are better filters than what Fram makes now.

When you design the rear swing arm, get the swing arm pivot as close as possible to the jack shaft for proper chain tension during swing arm travel. At 1/2 suspension compression the jack shaft center line, swing arm pivot and rear axle pivot should all be in a straight line. That way your chain will have equal tension at full extension and full compression of the swing arm.
(Ideally, use the jack shaft position for the swing arm pivot).

Tip, do not hook your welding ground to the crankshaft. Arcing can occur through the bearings in the motor with the high amperage.

That engine's spark & fuel management is basically just a fuel-pump, and air-inlet temperature sensor and injector away from being a EFI system. I might be omitting the manifold-vacuum/barometric sensor, but you get the idea.
I’m a faber and spend my life in my shop when not at work wrenching so how do I get samples n such to build stuff like this cause I’m really really jealous of your life right now! Anyways you kill it and if ever up in the North west specifically North Idaho (bout 40miles to Canada Aaaa) bring some bikes to ride the trails up here, they never end up here! But really by far my favorite channel!
I might have welded those around collars underneath the triple trees for extra support & safety, but it probly wont break

Where can I find this engine to buy? I’m just getting excited because of the electronics! Finially I can tune my mini how I want to the T! Oh and Fram filters are the most dangerous thing you could ever do to any oil system cause they are a paper filter and they will break up and kill an engine and that’s fact! Another awesome video guys! I’m still haveing trouble finding front suspension for my fully custom Coleman ct200u that’s running a Nibbi26mm and all the goodies you can do to a Honda clone! I want this engine your doing in this video! I do diesel tuning and build Cummins engines!
You know what would be sweet? Well you know we can get a predator for like 100 bucks but it would be pretty cool if we could get one that is just parts that you have to build for like 50 bucks. You get to learn how an engine works and people like you and me would have a awesome time building it. And like iv said before if a company could make a common man priced transmission for the predator that would be glorious. And dangerous...

I wonder if the Honda monkey shocks would be a direct swap out for the mm212 shocks. The look the same, I'm just not sure about the diameter of the 2.

I know these are recommend max rider weight of 200 lbs, how would you think it would do??? Is it just going to smoke the TQ converter belt constantly? Or do you think I'd be ok but just would see a little faster wear on the belt? Is the frame strong enough for 300 lbs?

Can a predator 420cc fit on a Moto Mini Bike 212 series
Been watching you for awhile. Got a question for you. I want to stage 1 a 79cc predator on a trike bicycle, but I want to run propane as my fuel. I know it decreases power. Which is but how would you hook it all up?

A lot's happened since 2018, with Monster Moto disappearing and Coleman's RB200 taking many of the '212's designs. I'd be interested in adding a hydro disc brake to the front of mine if the Monster Moto parts would swap over. The Monster Moto brake lever looks like a match to the rear one the RB200 has, but I don't know if the forks would fit. Gotta have that caliper mounting flange and whatever else is needed to add the disc to the wheel.
If anyone has any insight to that I'd appreciate it please. Thanks.
I may be wrong but I see a huge problem ... Wouldn't a swing arm make the rear tire smash into the muffler when hitting a bump

I bought the Mega Moto Max and bought a front suspension for the Monster Moto pro and apparently the Monster Moto has larger fork bearings and the center of mine are to small to fit triple tree No Refunds on these parts do you have any idea what I can do to make it work?

why does monster moto run a jack shaft to the other side of the bike? Why does the chain need to be on that side?

Taking a simple engine design and making it so complicated that you have to have an AST certification to work on the thing and a big pocket book.. Why a O2 sensor and position. Sensor.....
*ASE and it's not really that complicated. There's other pure mechanical choices still available, but this kind of thing is going to be the future.
Without electronic controls, cars as we know it wouldn't exist today. All the tin foil hatter "100mpg carburetor" nonsense in the world couldn't even come remotely close to meeting emissions and CAFE standards the fedfuckers put into law right now.
@@elesjuan I've built many carburated V8 engines that used no electronics other than a HEI distributor, and although not 100mpg, I could easily get 30 mpg in a 3,400 lb car with 3.73 gears that ran 13's in the quarter and they weren't smog monsters. These computers in today's cars are barely worth the trouble. But they do make it easy to boost with turbo/supercharger, but at the cost of reliability. There's always a sensor gone bad or some problem a good mechanic can't diagnose without a computer/scanner.
Use a manual 3D motorsport clutch so u can ride a dump the clutch like a real dirt bike lol so it isn't a dog lol
I don't like them at all. I prefer a cvt any day over a clutch for off road
11:30 you really shouldn’t have your ground connected to the crankshaft. Run a chance for the internals to arc together and cause accelerated engine wear. RIP main bearings

Fram uses a cardboard separator on the bottom where other brands use metal ones. We all know what happens when you soak cardboard.. I used to use fram until I watched a video comparing them to "cheaper" ones.
