Great video. I have a seagate 160gb hardrive out of a old skybox. So i took out the hard drive to keep. And dumped the rest of it. I was wondering how to connect the sky box hard drive to a laptop pc . Thanks subbed.

You basically need a Molex-to-15Pin SATA female connector, a 7 pin male to 7 pin female SATA data cable and a PSU with a +12/+5V plug

I am using your method here to try to recover an old external hard drive. I am using the SATA to IDE cable. I have it all connected to my computer and the computer makes the typical ding sound when a new drive is connected via the USB port. I can feel the drive working and it is even heating up too. Only problem is that the computer is not showing me this connected drive in my windows explorer folder. Can you please help? Thank you.
