MY wife and I moved from a 2 br apartment to a 4 br 3 full bath brand new home in 2001 and had to rent it out due to job loss in 2003 and I felt like a failure and my wife responded with excitement. I was floored I asked your not upset we just got the home and we are moving back into an apartment ? Her response was I like the weather there better. It motivated me more than anything to get her back into a home as I felt she deserved the world afterwards. We have been married for 30 years come Jan 2023 and another woman would ever be able to catch my eye as she has me as long as she will have me.

Men are really into their stuff but when a woman loves her MAN, not their LIFESTYLE, how much they have doesn't matter as long as their needs are met. Even if things are tight, when there is love and respect between a man and his wife, a good woman will stand the test of time. Furthermore, a 2br apartment is MUCH easier to clean than a big ole' 4br house! Glad for y'all. Hope you make it till death do you part. 💕

Awww....my granddaddy was 12 when he told my grandmother he was going to marry her. She was 9 years old. They were married for 60 years. Got married when she was 18 and he was 21. He succumbed to cancer 3 months after their 60th anniversary. They were so in love. He would grab her booty in front of us as soon as he came in the house and call her his "Brown Sugar." We would be like, "Uggghhh!!!" when we were kids.🤭

Im grown and this pop up story made me say eeewww too lolol🤭🤭🤭 WHY DO WE DO THAT?!!!
Its something bout the name Sugar.. mine called My Granny Sugar Bear.. but if she didnt answer he'd take the bass out his voice and whisper Darling (we would fall out laughing cause he was a LOUD talker and we'd be like why he always whispering at Granny) and wrap his arms around her waist from behind and slow dance and she'd ALWAYS blushed rosey cheeks EVERY SINGLE TIME and turn to kiss him then say WHAT DO YOU WANT.. and smile.. and we'd be like gooosshh... and they both would laugh at us..
Kellie, we are truly blessed to have witnessed, what we really didnt understand as children, what black love truly looks like. That was our grandfathers' love languages...before love language was a thing💞💞💞🙌🙌🙌🙏🏽🙏🏽

@@DearFutureWifey Yes, and I am so grateful. My grandma passed in 2020 from Covid and she wore a pendant with my grandfather's picture around her neck every single day. She lived 14 years after he passed and always talked about how blessed she was to have a loving, godly husband who took care of his family and spent time with them. They had 12 children.

@@kingdomkrafted6200 I love this!!! Yes, we were so blessed. My grandparents were very respectful and kind to each other. They would disagree on things but never yelled or called each other out of their names. My mama even said the same thing about them. And you know what? My granddaddy let us grandkids know that we better not raise a hair on my grandmother's head or we would have him to deal with.☺️ We would be over there after school or on teacher's workdays. So, he let us know, "This ain't what you want, Grandchirrren!"😂😂😂 So, we gave my grandma no problems.🤭

When my dad told my mom he was going to marry her...she was 8 or 9... she ran from him for years 😂. I'm glad he caught her.
Her mom died when she was 15 and my dad was away in the U.S. Air Force.
When he came back home... they ran into each other at the store. He took his mom and auntie, and my mom's little sister kept bugging her to take her to the store that day. Long story short ..that was their reconnection.

Do you know the level of security (speaking as a woman) you feel when you know you are a man's priority?! POWERFUL! I'd also like to add to that "best friend." If you are your spouse's best friend and priority, that's a hedge of protection like no other. I want that Copeland Love 💕. I wonder has he cheated on her before or more than once? Even if it was an emotional affair…it was an affair. And he is STILL willing to place his needs before hers.
It’s not a transparent interview without the full disclosure of the truth.

    • @pastorcalcope

The first thing the enemy successfully did was make us hide because we were ashamed
, I’m so glad I serve a God who loves me in spite of me. But it is a daily battle

    • @mieyattamalone
      @mieyattamalone 2 года назад +1

@@pastorcalcope Yes…God does love us all inspite of ourselves. I respect that. But if you truly believed those words, then you should not care what others think. This was not a genuine representation of God’s love and forgiveness. This was still misleading of God’s true character. And…This is one of the reasons people don’t trust what we speak about God.
How many MORE people would you have impacted if you were genuine and authentic?
And to be honest and truthful…how much more would YOU HEAL YOUR WIFE from being open and honest. Well…heal yourself as well.
To intentionally mislead people discredits WHO God really is.
Yes…I know we live in a “cancel culture”. But…God does not cancel you.
I’m not being disrespectful. But you can preach all you want to and mislead others. But there will never be a transformation without honest communication. And…Yes…there is a possibility that you could loose some members or even a church. BUT at least you and your wife could start again from a FREE SPACE.
And the truth is…if you have not already, it’s probably more healing to sit for a year or so and truly heal for you and your wife. Wouldn’t it be better to preach and minister from a healed place than a continually broken space?
BUT you know…It takes courage to do that and trust.
I know your wife loves you and God💕. But my question is how much do you genuinely love her? Actions speaks louder than words.
One thing I love about this podcast is that he had courage to deal outloud. Even though is was more than likely painful. But meanwhile…he is helping others. And he was probably sensitive to the fact that you are a pastor. But, this broadcast bothers me. Because I can see.
How many people could actually turn to and believe in the God we SAY we serve if we lived from a vulnerable place.
I 🙏 pray you and your wife somehow get to a real place of healing individually and collectively. And as a result, God prospers you immensely.
      Blessings

A argument that I woke up too as a child. And this is not to say that they didn’t argue but they made it a point not to argue in front of their children. They fought to stay together! Rising 8 children, underlined health conditions, and now my mom has dementia but there still together! I’m encouraged! Marriage is honorable in all and the bed is undefiled!

I loved when he actually offered a tissue because it brought him to tears as he recounted the story of her unbuttoning her pink blouse and her saying, she thought it would happen different than this! And how he stopped his fleshly gratification until the time was comfortable for him and his Bride.
He tearedd up like it happened yesterday!
But if it had, it might of caused a rift in their Union today if she felt defiled in any way.
The most powerful moment coming from her when she stayed the course through bankruptcy was when she said, "Help me to see!" Wow!!!
It takes two people loving Him because He never promised a life of comfort or convenience. And recognizing the gift of the other as a gift from God so that u not only choose each other but prefer one another because you can lose it at any time, even by death, let alone divorce or separation.

Revelation, wow. Intentionally dying to self, and releasing my wants... to have my hands free to bandage, massage, apply healing balm to HIS wounded places. In service to God.
Not using your two hands to try to mold a man into the image you want, or who you told yourself he was when you met. But in true servitude and obedience to the Father. Who called you to do so in the 1st place. That requires an actual relationship with the Father, a willingness to serve, and a intimate knowledge of the Father's voice and Word. Wow.
And while I knew that in a way, something about how it was presented hit different.

This is a beautiful couple as well as their story. I’m so glad they shared it. I love the story of buttoning the blouse up and his transparency regarding the lifetime struggle with temptation. Also, it touched my heart when his wife asked him to help her see in a tough time. That is a wife. Be blessed and thank you for this episode! #Seraphim

The man said, “Adam listened to his flesh (Eve being bone of my…flesh of my flesh),” spiritually profound observation of the Most High’s wisdom. The fruit of the flesh is death…wow! In the beginning…I AM was teaching a valuable lesson…❤

The way she nodded while he confessed the weakness of his flesh, looking straight at him as to say 'it's OK' ... did it for me. ❤
And how he loved her enough to let her keep her purity... selfless act❤. Cause she gave in because she loved him. *beautiful* hearts🙌🏾
Wow! The miracle part is so spot on! We now believe that's it's possible. Not just love, but faith! There's honest people who love the Lord and their chosen spouses. We've been brought back to life if ever we were doubting! 🙌🏾🙌🏾💯 Praise God!

This was lovely! I like it when couples come on. But when these men come on and discussing why they’re 40 and 50 still not married and justifying why as they fornicate their way through that singleness, dishonoring Women over and over again while proclaiming to be Christian. And then on top of that they make us wait, while our bodies dry up and infertility becomes a unwelcome friend. On top of that, you go and marry women young enough to be your daughters. When I tell you that’s a turn off, it is!
As soon as boys and girls start being interested in each other, as Christians we should start telling them about marriage and how it’s a demonstration of Gods love for us. We should be getting them ready for marriage because it’s the best place to be whole, renewed, to live and to die and to live again! Overall, I love and appreciate you brother forge ahead! And gone and get married! Period!
