@MrE_ 😂😂 had he accepted the deal in the fall, he would've gotten more and stayed right where he was, but yeah, he wanted that 3rd year. 😅😉 And then he had the season he had, which wasn't great, so that offer disappeared in a flash, brother. 😆😂🙈🙈
klay up in his feelings being the #2 option his whole career. he spent all his time moping around on his yacht so now when he does play ball he gets cooked lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣
U all do realize that being friends/ co workers for 13 years will have them playing like that against each other. Klay went to warriors locker room after the game and they all relaxed after not having the cameras on them.
Also, he finds that good place of being an optimist, but not being crazy. Like you can definitely tell when he feels the roster is stronger than when it’s weaker. He was the only media I could find that called. The Warriors winning a championship in 2021 in the preseason
Actually it was Klay that called Curry to ask him not to do the speech because he didn’t want to get emotional. He wanted his focus to be on winning for his team, and he didn’t want his new teammates thinking he still has loyalty to them because it would ruin the chemistry on his new team
Captain Klay had just experienced to be cooked by the chef 😭. No way he was taunting his splash bro, he knew better than that lmfaooooooo. Love Klay still tho
I would love to have them resign him. I was so sad he left but understand from a business standpoint. He was an integral part of the Warriors culture and a reason I fell in love with the Warriors back in the day.
Great video, but one quibble: “Steph didn’t want to lose to Klay, and you can bet Klay didn’t want to lose to Steph.” I think these guys, especially Steph being the beast he is, plays to win rather than play “not to lose”.
I know Steph Curry we play the same number, I can make probably if I trained 70 free throws out of 100, counting time, boredom, luck, now if I had someone with me that motivated me and we were competing I could probably go up to 80, but if we played a game and you wanted me to take the last free throws I would pick Steve Nash over MJ, MJ was more natural than all the other players, past successes also helped him solidify his career.
Heres the thing, people don't recognize their roles or places in life. Of course Klay wants to be recognized as great, but he's not "one of the best". Steph is. Steph has that ability, leadership, and attitude, and skill. Kaly is great. He's good. And he played really well with Steph. But you can want to be recognized as the best but you don't quite play that way. He doesn't play on the same level as Steph. Sure, you can move to another team and try to be the best or #1 but Klay isn't that after this many years. He's a fantastic player to have, but he will never be one of the best. It's like some people are not natural born leaders, but they have skills and abilities in executing others ideas. Maybe your not the leader, but you can execute really well and you should own that role to it's max. I can see how ego can get in the way, but you should fully own the role you know you can do 100% and you should appreciate it. Some people can't be cops. Some can't even do basic customer service or be nice to people. Figure out what your best at and own it.
It was a fun game but it was still one regular season game and the script will lead to them meeting in the playoffs, or it will just tease it and have us narrowly miss out on that series by one of the teams losing just before. The Klay vs. Steph battles will keep going and Klay will get his at some point but there's nothing like the first time, at Chase Center.
The fact the Dubs didn’t need Klay to be #1 seed in the west and he himself joined a former WCF champ team that still can’t compete is what pissed off Klay!😂
Should’ve talked about how that look Steph had at 6:23 was because somebody tried on Klay Thompson. I forget who it was tho, I believe it was Trayce Jackson
Look at each every teammates Lebron has on his every team since Miami days compared to Steph, there are always and almost all-star players/superstars/quality players that have been traded or recruited. Steph's roster in his entire career, the biggest star the team had been recruited so far is Kevin Durant and the only one next to it Andrew Wiggins. So just let it sink in down for a minute Bron had the most help
It was because of his ego. He didn't want to come off the bench and wanted a max contract. He didn't want to accept he was no longer the same player he was after his injuries.
I saw the game. Steph won that game BECAUSE Luka and Kyrie, haven't realized whose on their team. Klay holds the record for MOST 3's I'm a game (16x). And most points in a qt. Pass Klay the ball and change the outcome. 😊
Do you think Steph Curry’s 'night-night' celebration was a fair response to Klay's shimmy, or was it crossing the line given their history as teammates? Let’s hear your thoughts!
last night’s game between the nuggets and mavs, mavs still won DESPITE KLAY going 0 for 8 on the court. Klay is not going to last in a mavs jersey. Klay needs to retire i’m afraid.
What you are doing isn't stupid, there's a certain reason to you being here, but I've been there before, and if you are willing to learn from my mistakes, I will tell you what one of my dearest professor has told me constructive criticism, for me they were too fast, too many rhetoricians, know who your friends are.
I will always love Klay Thompson. But he is on a downturn physically and play production. He seems to think that the Warriors did him dirty. If he embraced a bench role, he could have stayed but he wanted to remain a starter with last season's production saying otherwise. Stars have to stop thinking the will get a $60m per year legacy contract like Kobe did. On a losing team, just to stay with that team. Yes, we won championships with you, but if you cant stay at that level, then economics comes into play. If Klay still believes, like I think he does, that he is still Game 6 Klay after all these injuries... he will be a star that fought father time and lost. Just like Carmello Anthony did.
Should the Warriors re-sign Klay for one more year after his current contract so he can retire with Golden State?
Yes❤
Still trying to wrap my head around why Klay ghosted Steph
Idk dude I still want to see them retire together but, klay man
NO
Depends how they are in a few years, right now they're a second round team on current form
They WERE the Splash brothers, that game they were the CLASH brothers. 😅🤣
Clash of the clan members 😹
😂😂😂good one
At least Klay got his cash, brother
@MrE_ 😂😂 had he accepted the deal in the fall, he would've gotten more and stayed right where he was, but yeah, he wanted that 3rd year. 😅😉
And then he had the season he had, which wasn't great, so that offer disappeared in a flash, brother. 😆😂🙈🙈
If u noticed, Curry have always been calling Klay his splash bro and stuff but I’ve never once heard Klay say anything about their special bond.
klay up in his feelings being the #2 option his whole career. he spent all his time moping around on his yacht so now when he does play ball he gets cooked lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What about the interview with Ibaka?
🎯nope he can stay in Dallas. No loyalty to Steph.
Klay had said that they close stop it.
Klay is infamous for being elusive. We do know he respects Steph a lot. Steph and Draymond give him a ton a love, I'll trust their word on the matter.
The shimmy klay made, awakened that alter ego of Stephen Curry😂
I think so honestly
He knew better but couldn’t resist
you mean that Wardell guy?
I just want more titles for Steph.
Just because it's steph 🎉❤🔥🔥
We will never get another first meeting with Steph and Klay on opposing teams. This game was one of one
And your mom will never lose her virginity again. You're welcome. I time traveled just so that I can make you my son😂
I cannot wait for Klay’s clapback. Dubs were talking way too much and Steph just seemed classless
@@jayegeecorporate8788what clap back. Steph is still playing at an all nba level. Klay is absolutely not
@@Romanus- Klay doesnt need to. He’s a 3rd option. Meanwhile, Stephy is 36 and averaging his lowest ppg in 10 years!
@@jayegeecorporate8788he can clap back all he wants. But there is only ONE first time meeting. This was it. Klay lost.
We would be at 6 rings right now if klay never went down in 2019.... klay went down at his prime..... best backcourt duo ever.
13:58 Psycho Steph is amazing! 🥳🔥
Is this his final form!? 😄
Steph had a "And I took that personally," moment.
Man this was such a good game to watch everybody was balling. Straight good basketball.
Ngl that premature night night had me a bit worried. 😅🤣
That night night was always on point
@@JGallis damn right brother! psychological damage!
Me too…😂
There's no such thing as a premature night-night from Steph.
The guy who finally ends the night night streak (currently undefeated) will be legendary
U all do realize that being friends/ co workers for 13 years will have them playing like that against each other. Klay went to warriors locker room after the game and they all relaxed after not having the cameras on them.
I subscribed to HoopReports, for Glazing Warriors and stephen Curry Content, since then, he has not missed!
Also, he finds that good place of being an optimist, but not being crazy. Like you can definitely tell when he feels the roster is stronger than when it’s weaker. He was the only media I could find that called. The Warriors winning a championship in 2021 in the preseason
All-star game at Chase should be Team Steph vs. Team Klay!! 🤩🤩😁😁
16 min of glazing and I’ll watch every second , ty HR
What a game. What a Chef.
What a recap! ♥️🙏👏👏
Effortlessly blowing past Luka isn't a huge flex, dude plays defense like how people fight in dreams.
😂😂😂
4 rings and 3 of them on bron😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

We had the splash brothers, now we have the Splash Squad!! 👍👏🔥🔥🥳🥳🤩🤩
probably the best regular season game i have ever watched
U must be young lol
@@MrDeepee69 nah im just very busy and i dont have much time to watch games during the day since im also in a different timezone and i have work
Okc…
@@parjesalt I feel completely feel that.let me apologize.
That game was so tense, stuff of legends!
The production on this was great!
Thats right steph curry show'em who's boss💀💀💀💀🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩✅✅✅
A playoff matchup between these two teams will be electric. A sure 7 gamer
Finally! I miss your Warriors content!
Finally early too a Hoop Reports Masterclass 😭❤️
I'm just glad Klay played good. I know he hated being in Curry's shadow but join the club, everyone is.
Captain Klay had just experienced to be cooked by the chef 😭. No way he was taunting his splash bro, he knew better than that lmfaooooooo. Love Klay still tho
Lol that kawai laugh 😂😂
never thought klay would get cooked by the chef 👨🍳
Next time don't ghost your brother....ain't cool. 😂
10:34 Warriors bench those up the 3 instinctually for Klay's 3, looks around, then quickly pulls his hand back down. made me smile.
Easily one of the greatest, most memorable games in NBA history!!🔥🔥
"He knows better than that" 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
Klay will always be loved wherever he goes
Great video
Steph looked to me like westbrook for a sec after that last dagger 😂
Splash bros' first game against one another poetically ended with just THREE POINTS 👌
Best game I’ve seen so far
klay is bitter abt how his career is ending unlike steph is still balling at the highest level.. should not have ghosted steph thats not good klay
That game was absolutely epic.
Bro, it was just ONE game. That got all season. Klay gon get his get back just watch!
You know something is up when draymond is knocking down a bunch of 3’s 😂
When Steph stops smiling, and starts mean mugging....
You're in for a 'Night,night!'
Its ok now Steph got a real Buddy!💯
I would love to have them resign him. I was so sad he left but understand from a business standpoint. He was an integral part of the Warriors culture and a reason I fell in love with the Warriors back in the day.

Chef Curry cooked KLAY, Kyrie AND LUKA all on his own.
He's the GOAT! 🐐❤
Let’s go Warriors!💙💛🤍🧡❤️🖤

splash father vs. splash son bruh
throwback to the nba allstar 2019 when curry cooked klay with the 4 point play and pointed to him,he should have known better
Still feels weird watching them play against eachother, somewhat like in the 2019 All-Star Game

Steph hit the mavs with the exact same dagger as Luke did to the wolves 😂 switch 5 on you, crossover, stepback, land on your left foot bouncing
You better stay here!!!! If i ever hear those word. Ill remember this moment. And yes, Imma stay here

Yes
Steph yelled: “youll miss it here”
We were the splash brothers. You just didn’t know you were little bro.
Curry vs Dallas felt like Olympian Curry.
Its like Pippen vs Jordan
We always knew which one was the boss.
You missed the block Steph had on Klay!
7:18 that’s him copying klays snarl he went viral for a while back
Have you noticed his voices changed a TON in the last 3 years
One for the ages
Steph took 5 steps on that 1st shot.
Yea

Steph when someone tries shimmy and anger/annoy him...
Steph: Ah, I see what you did there... 🏀💦
The game do the talking.

i felt like dray exaggerated it, for the drama and clicks
Look Steph Curry won the first match up against Klay Thompson but they will play against each other two or three more times.🏀
Ya, but the first time is the thriller
@ktloz2246 oh totally agree.
