I've been enjoying your daily drawings and have been missing them now that the Hobonichi previews are over lol any plans to film more? What are your thoughts and experience so far on videos vs shorts?
That's sooo nice to have a group of friends with the same hobby ♪♪＼(^ω^＼)( /^ω^)/♪♪ I hadn't thought about continuing the daily drawing but I might consider doing it daily for October again, tons of things to draw for October. Shorts were fun to make because they were less stressful to film (like I was ok if it wasn't as polished) and it became a daily routine. Shorts have a different editing style I found out too, like selecting the right clips, length, and music was a learning experience. I'm more used to filming/editing videos and I've always thought that's what people want, like listening to you share and chat about life and all the stationery goodness. I know people make shorts from their videos too, which I haven't tried but I see others do it very successfully. Your question is so thoughtful and I've admittedly spent a longer time thinking and replying to this haha~ I'm always so happy when I see your comments and this one has inspired me to make a video on it and continue with the shorts theme too. Thanks so much🎶

I’m confused how you received your order so quickly. Oh my. Mine hasn’t even shipped yet! My husband just said “could you have expedited shipping?” He feels bad for me 😂😂😂. I’ll live through you. It’s alright. The Kraft paper is something I enjoy seeing in my boxes. I always reuse the paper in my junk journals. Plus it’s nicer than plastic imo. I like your selections!

I've used small date stickers, net prints (printed sheets from Japanese illustrators and I made a short video on net prints), just writing them in, and stamping. If I redate an entire outdated Hobonichi, I'll probably stamp the dates in next to the orginal date for simplicity. I like to keep the orginal dates in and not completely cover or white them out because I think it's a nice nod to the life of the book if that makes sense. I'll be redating an outdated Hobonichi for 2024 actually so maybe that's something I'll share in a video. Thanks so much for watching^^

Hi, how do there pens write? I believe I saw that that cover you are using will fit perfectly as it is used. 😎
I like them, the jetstream pen is smooth writing, dries quickly, and can be highlighted over without smearing
I like the A6 cover, but I don't see it on Hobonichi website. May I ask from where you bought/found it?
I bought mine when it was still available on Amazon Japan. It's from Hobonichi's 2020 lineup unfortunately.
