I like it... a lot. thanks MC84. Wish there was a way to transpose a pattern by semitones using a sequencer. i.e. After 8 bars, down 3 semitones, after another 8 bars down by 5 semitones and so on.
Very easy to transpose on this just by pressing shift and a key while it's playing. However I don't think you can automate that beyond 64 steps. Major gripe with me, I'd like 128 steps if they could update it for that.
@Fractalite, you are completely wrong. Roland plugins are wonderful. Korg's plugins are wonderful. Lots of plugins are wonderful (including some free).
Been looking everywhere for good house demos on this thing.. or at least anything but synthwave/80's style that I've seen a ton of. Thank you!
agreed
FROM CHICAGO, KC B, Chicago house music, yeah jacking it up all the way😎
Nice old skool house jam.
I'm liking the sound of this thing
Love that House
A very capable little machine. Hopefully Roland can give it some more spangles like pattern chain with FW updates.
Why do they always forget pattern chain? 🤦♂😆
Sounds great ! 👋🤩👍
Splendid.
Thanks 👍
DECENT! Thanks for posting this.
House music all night long🎉

Arpreggiooooooooooo!!!!!

Cool
Thumbs up!
I think that's mostly because Marshall Jefferson was a mailman when he wrote this song. He nailed it though 👍
Great, it’s seems like an OP-Z with buttons and better synth!
Good luck trying to fit it in your jacket pocket 😆
Can you elaborate on that?
Someone makes the 4D fit in a 19" rack and I'm at the local music store with money in hand! :p
DIY is your friend.
Sounds Buttery... 😊 Would love to see a Plug-in version eventually in Roland Cloud, although real knobs and sliders are always fun to play with.
Plug in version would suck like any plug in version of any synth.
Sounds great

Sounds great, thanks for making this video!😀
10 points 👍🏻
@@BernardLermite82 Thanks
Wow, this thing sounds HUGE! Great track!!!
P.s. Another Roland's machine with wonderful sound, lots of menu diving and some stupid limitations.
Is this machine able to assign different synth presets per sequence? Like can one sequence have completely different sounds than the next sequence?
Roland’s called them patterns, but yes you can save 4 synths and a drum kit as part of a pattern. 👍🏻
Can you create a full song in this unit and not just looping around? Is it hard to transition to a new sequence?
No pattern/sequence chaining as of launch firmware, but they’ll probably add it. They did same with MC101 & 707
@@mc84music thank you for your response
The second chord and bass step not correct (original step is a 5. not 4.) But nice work! :)
Close enough 😂
He it’s a remake of the MC 505 1:50
