Baking Recipe -
50g (2oz) butter or margarine
65g (2.5oz) caster sugar
1 egg
Few drops of vanilla flavouring
100g (4oz) plain flour
1.Cream together butter and sugar
2.Beat in the egg and vanilla
3. Add flour and mix
4.Knead lightly to form a dough
5. Roll out and cut cookies
6. Cook for 10-15mins at 180'c, 350'F, Gas Mark 4.
7. Dip cool cookies in melted chocolate and add cinnamon (optional)

I don’t know how you do it Elayne, you even manage to make an egg n bacon buttie look smart! Honestly, mine would have been a total mess, broken egg yolk, burnt bacon, and definitely no table cloth or placemat. Thi is one of the many reasons why I love your channel. Your Autumn decorations are beautiful, good job. I did mine yesterday as I’m in the USA I’ve been living in America, 48yrs and you probably know they call it the fall. When I lived in Glasgow before I came nobody decorated for Autumn so when I came here it was all new to me. You can take the girl out of Glasgow but you can’t take Glasgow out the girl. I miss Scotland 🏴 I enjoy your videos you are such a nice person. You did a beautiful job.🏴🇺🇸💕

What whimsical decorating you do. I love all of it. Especially the little animals you tuck in here and there. Such a darling home. May I ask what part of England you live in? I’m from Washington state in the Pacific Northwest north of Seattle. It’s still summer like here but in the mornings you can tell Fall is coming.
