York looks beautiful. Very well preserved building and streets. A friend went with her mum to visit family in 1976. I have a postcard they sent me from York.

Love York-been many times but would never go at Christmas time .Soooo many people .Christmas has become so over the top .But do love a quiet Christmas now.

Thank you for showing York. Our daughter “Alice”went to the York Xmas fair last week travelling 5hrs from Devon. Sent us a photo of her standing in “mad Alice”lane but we didn’t see anything else of York . How quaint it looks and so Christmassy, would love to go there myself as I love history.
