Would you consider living in Hawthorne?

I moved out of Hawthorne after living there for about 10 years, it has become overcrowded since Space X moved in. I do miss the beach weather, however, I don’t miss the 405 and 105 freeway traffic, street traffic isn’t any better. There are a ton of older apartments that bring in sketchy people which make many areas unsafe for walking. The worst struggle of living in Hawthorne is the street parking, you commonly have to park a block or two away from your house, or tailgate the street sweeper in order to claim your parking spot before everyone else does.

5:10 Being a New Yorker that was the only reason why we ever heard of Hawthorne…that’s where The Beach Boys are from👍🏻Informative video. It seems like a nice place to live, especially for children and the local school system.

I am from Hawthorne Calif 90250 . I have 4 Hawthorne tattoos even. It is not the best place to live unless you enjoy meth heads, gang members and homeless ppl on the street. When i was young i lived by Saint Josephs that side of El Segundo is still nice. I love Hawthorne but im not going to lie. You can find small parts of Hawthorne that are really nice but be honest aboutvthe city as a whole. Yes its technically South Bay but to us from Hawthorne Lil Watts its West Los

I know people from my country are frowned upon in the United States. But I'm a very hardworking guy, I want to conquer things with my effort, I'm programming myself, I'm not just another migrant who doesn't care about accepting the culture, knowing how to speak English well and trying to be a good citizen.

This is a great mindset. I don't believe it's true that people automatically frown upon ppl from your culture. Your biggest obstacle will be getting the paperwork to work here legally.

I was not aware that Wiseburn is Commercial El Segundo (Continental Development, Plaza El Segundo) and Residential Hawthorne (from Aviation to Inglewood) until now. I initially thought Continental Development (Rosecrans from Sepulveda to Aviation) was within El Segundo Unified School District's boundaries.

School borders can be tricky and they can change. Always good to check the district sites to see boundaries

No you can live with roommates in California. I know of a nurse who lives with a roommate in Northern California and he has money to drive a nice car and go on vacation trips during his time off work. Roommates is the way to go. Your advice is not good because there are hurricanes in Miami, alligators and crocodiles in Miami, python snakes in Miami. No thanks!

@Sandra DiBiaso Pythons are not a native species to Florida and the everglades. The only reason Pythons would be found there, are because people dump them in the wild when they can't afford to take care of them or realize they don't know how to care for them.
