Hurley gave me more than I expected. Impressive!
Seeing the Offensive line move so smooth and watch them pull is like poetry!! Beautiful!!
I was proud of their unity and feet work. They going to be good this year. I want to see 28 get 20 carries in a game with them
Nussmeier looks like a future first rounder. His timing with the WRs and accuracy is elite. Perkins will have a huge year coming off the edge again. The TEs Taylor and Pinkerton are going to be nasty. Secondary is a work in progress but plenty of time to get beter.
This defense is going up against what is probably the best offense in the country. AND... this defense is trying to work with a bunch of new coaches.
If anyone was expecting the defense to look stellar in this spring game -- come back to reality.
The fact that this defense didn't look completely atrocious is a very good sign.

What Womack did was fine. LSU has always had an intense defense vs offense dynamic and it’s worked really well for us. We want our defenders to hate every offensive player on earth and be prideful and gritty.. we’ve lost that and need it back

Our safeties just don’t “safety” well in the run game. Idk if it was just the SG or if it’s been that way all Spring Practice but they didn’t look good
Nuss's passes all seem to be a bit high. They are all leaving their feet to get the ball.
I wanted to see us under center tbh
Is the improvement on the defensive side
Hell no. Looks just as bad as last year. 5th year safeties look lost. We still dont understand zone concepts. Dline was awful with no push, and everyones favorite player Mr. Perkins looked EXACTLY the same as last year. Pushed around on Blitzs, got manhandled by our TE and RB on multiple plays.

He’s not a sec starter linebacker consistently miss tackles, slow, and horrible in coverage.
The D line looks horrible as will no push at all…
It’s time LSU just start playing their younger talent on defense at this point. Kylin Jackson and McBryde looks 10x better than Gilbert and Sage at safety
It’s obvious the younger guys on defense want it more ! I would rather a freshman and redshirt freshman messed up than to have seniors not play to the standard
They better start playing those younger guys before the younger guys play them and go to another in conference school.

Sage Ryan has never lived up to his 5 star billing out of high-school
He hasn't got to play his position. He has played everywhere else. Not many could.even get on field in a different positions. So really this will be his freshman year
@@edcurtis7640 not true. He's been a safety mostly but safety/corner are not hard to interchange. He's been there like 4 years already
