    The inlet at 4:43 is very oily and dirty on mine, any idea on what i should use to clean that? Also noticed oil in the air intake pipe, coming from that thinner flexible pipe connecting to the top right of the engine, what does that one do and why am i getting oil in the intake?

    • @CorsaDForever
      @CorsaDForever  3 месяца назад

      It's good to clean it. Carburetor cleaning solution or brake cleaning spray. The oil vapors reach through the short and thick hose to the accelerator sometimes and to the air filter. It happens especially in the colder season, when the oil vapor condenses a lot. You probably make a lot of very short trips.

    Do you have a video on cleaning this ? Did you just clean the body or does the engine side need cleaning. Sorry never done one of these before so worried I may screw it up. Just bought a bottle of throttle cleaner.

    Hello mate, is this the LMM between the Air filter and the Acc-Throttle? But the Plug has only 2 Pin? Actually the LMM has 5 Pins, right? So what Part is this?

      Most probably is the coil. The throttle body has nothing to do with the misfire.

    Like these videos, I have a Corsa D myself, find them useful!
    Could you make a video on installing a kill switch for the corsa? Seen other videos on kill switches but not specifically for the corsa

      Thanks for waching. I don't have that in plan. I would not recommend, everytime you kill the power more than 20-30 minutes it will reset the ECU settings, so after every start the engine have to learn again. Without curent you won't be able to open the car with the remote.

    Hello mate, my Vauxhall Corsa D has a problem, it keeps revving up small amounts on its own, and it takes a while for the revs to come down. All the sensors have been changed, and I have cleaned the throttle body, is there a chance my throttle body is faulty? Very helpful videos by the way!

    • @CorsaDForever
      @CorsaDForever  Год назад +1

      Hi. See how the evap valve is working. Especially if you have a facelift Corsa. Take it off and see if you can blow air throu it, you shouldn't.

    • @dylans351
      @dylans351 Год назад +1

      @@CorsaDForever So if I can’t blow air through it, it means it is working fine? Also if this is not the problem, does that mean the throttle body is faulty?

    • @CorsaDForever
      @CorsaDForever  Год назад +1

      If you blow air it is faulty. If it is ok, check first for other vacuum leaks causes.

    Hi there, could you help me, had my car, vauxhall corsa D 2007, into the garage three times now, changed spark plugs and coil pack and thought problem was solved, then engine management light came back on, went back to the my local garage and their diagnostics came up as an o2 sensor code near the catalytic converter,, that was changed too and engine management light came back on again when driving away from the garage and same issue with 15 or so minutes into driving, it would at times struggle to accelerate, could it be the ERG valve (throttle body) as the problem?

    • @CorsaDForever

      This will most likely not help. Try to check if the MAP sensor is working properly. For this you have to monitor the values on the go on a tester.

      There is no separate pcv valve. The engine cover has some passages in it thru where the oil is separated.

      There's no need for bleed. Just try to keep the removed hoses as high as possible so they don't leak to much.

      Incearca sa scoti borna la baterie pentru 30 min. Dupa ce o conectezi la loc, pui contactul fara sa pornesti si il tii asa 30 de secunde timp in care se calibreaza clapeta, apoi iei contactiul si pornesti normal. Vezi daca isi revine asa.
