Most of the glue stays on the Mylar Robert, but once the shirt is pressed, whatever glue that might be left goes away. The trick is to use a good glue and use it sparingly.
I used signlab and photoshop to generate the bitmap. I tried Corelli in 1991 and wasn't feeling it. Great program, but PC wasn't fast enough at the time for the mathematics
Great video! Where do you purchase your mylar from? Also do you purchase the mylar with/without adhesive? One, last thing lol I have a Cameo Silhouette cutter, do you know if that would cut the mylar?
he generally uses iwata that's a iwata hp bcspaint will be createx or wicked or both as both can be used as textile paint.wicked is slightly more versatile and paints on hard surfaces and automotive . createx dosnt
Brand doesn't matter as long as you're comfortable with it. But you want it to be a double action w/syphon feed if you plan on high production t-shirt painting.
Stacey Briggs Usually new shirts from the manufacturer contain sizing to make the shirts crisp. Unlike starch that makes it stiff, sizing can be plastic or vegetable based. Washing can remove sizing and helps paint to bind with the fabric. Hope this helps.
It took me 5 mins with some CAD expertise and i had the same stencil as them on laser cut mylar film a4 size send me a message im sure we can work something out :)
It's pre formulated fabric paint for airbrush.... brands such as Createx , Aqua Flow, etc. It drugs soft and flexible. It is heat set with iron to reduce fading with washing.
really cool concept and good technique but, in my opinion, the tight pink in the lettering ruined it. it made the letters harder to read and it fucks with the eyes lol. from my experience with tattooing the lettering should be the easiest to read part of any design.
but when it comes to hendrix and acid trippping its supposed to mess with the eyes, and is way different then what a tattoo should be like. Real acid from the days were bright colors and trails with rainbows, been there, done that. :)
I own a tattoo shop. A good portion of the restaurants and clubs down here use blacklight. The pink screams against the white tee shirt. As do the other muted fluorescents
Honestly, as a long time guitarist and Hendrix fan, I know the flaw in syntax. However, when you're bashing out shirts for tourists, everyone is gonna eat, yeah? Thanks for the views. 🤟💖🍻 E.
I needed these videos 25 years ago! Still have all of my Airbrush Action Magazines tho..all the way from 1986! Cheers
Instablaster.
I know you've probably made a million designs, but your work is amazing. I'd love to see something that YOU find complicated
Thanks. There's alot i don't know. And I'm grateful

"that's where you want to be, in the pink" this can be applied to not just airbrushing ;)

When doing celebrities do you use skin tone airbrush paint.
CorelDraw x6 5mins from a jimi hendrix photo i had the same stencil as you on mylar a4 laser cut super easy
I used signlab and photoshop to generate the bitmap. I tried Corelli in 1991 and wasn't feeling it. Great program, but PC wasn't fast enough at the time for the mathematics
I liked it best at the 8:45 mark.
How did you get the stencil is it hand drawn. Is it a picture you traced.Cool video on how to airbrush celebrities.
thanks for the knowledge !!
Did he really say, "Pound the Pink"? Awesome!
really nice!
LOVE IT!
Nicely done! How do you prevent paint from lifting when lifting the stencil so quickly. .like just pulling it up..?
I am Learning to airbrush about month now
white in the coronas...bc jimi's ya know.... um.... experienced!!!! Friggin Awesome!!!
✌😁🔥
awesome
Before I ruin a t shirt lol do you think applying adhesive vinyl/stencil will work on a 100% cotton tshirt? I will be using createx?
It will
You need to press between paint coats to lock the fabric down. But a well prepped 100% cotton tee is a dream to paint on.
😍
That is great!!!!
alucinante !!
Hello, I bought my own Airbrush machine for graffiti. What colors do I have to buy for a machine?
How can I get this jimmy Hendrix stencil?
Great job, what kind of paint is this, does it wash off?
You can remove it with acetone or alcohol. Bt once cured and especially heat-set, it'll last longer than the fabric its painted on
Creativity
Great job!!! What needle size are you using? 0,5??? Thanks for showing your work!!
it's "castles made of sand"
castles made of sand.... fall into the sea... eventually...
You must love the smell of your're hard work bro! Lol
it's so awesome! what type of paints are you using sir?
Createx Wicked.
Show !!!
exelent
Great video! Where do you purchase your mylar from? Also do you purchase the mylar with/without adhesive? One, last thing lol I have a Cameo Silhouette cutter, do you know if that would cut the mylar?
can i ask, when your using a textile paint do you need to put something to mix on it
distilled water. Lately, Createx has some great reducers that take out guess-work
It's Castles MADE OF sand. Great work though
I thought that was amazing!! |8-3D
This is a happy face ^
l
🍻😁
did u use createx paint?..what kind of paint aplicable for t shirt?
Createx and createx wicked
do you ever have issues with trademarks or copyrights selling these images?
Formative collage handles it.
its castles MADE OF sand...ur gonna make jimi turn in his grave...get it right
Again, I know the error. The tourists like the play on words when they're spending 4 grand for a week in Destin
can someone please tell which paint you usee and where i can get it o:)
he used wicked paints on the whole shirt, wicked is a branch of Createx.
with what airbrush set you work on t shirts?
Iwata Eclipse hp bcs
Do you sell the stencil ?
I don't. Sorry
Thats where you wana be in the pink lol
Thought in was "Castles MADE of Sand" ?
Jimi's portrait was enough, all the extra shit just makes it look cluttered.
hi, what size this stencil?
What is the best thing to put inside the t shirt when airbrushing it please. xx
teejamgal Cardboard cut into a shirt form works great and is reusable.
I use Masonite board. Its cheap ,stiff and easily found
which one is the best airbrush brand to use sir?
he generally uses iwata that's a iwata hp bcspaint will be createx or wicked or both as both can be used as textile paint.wicked is slightly more versatile and paints on hard surfaces and automotive . createx dosnt
Brand doesn't matter as long as you're comfortable with it. But you want it to be a double action w/syphon feed if you plan on high production t-shirt painting.
Try Paasche VL3
won't the glue leave residue if it's wet?
The heat press off-gasses the propellant in the glue. It bonds with the paint. Its gone in the first wash
Screwed it up with the overspray. Big dark blob to "correct it". Why blast your artwork with the pink at the end? Dude, you're screwing it all up lmao
Great.1A
Do you wash your shirts before painting? Just got some fresh blank tees. Not sure what chemicals are on them...
Stacey Briggs Usually new shirts from the manufacturer contain sizing to make the shirts crisp. Unlike starch that makes it stiff, sizing can be plastic or vegetable based. Washing can remove sizing and helps paint to bind with the fabric. Hope this helps.
Washing beforehand makes the fabric "furry" and make it prone to overspray.
what kind of paint did you use ? whether it's toxic?
He said Wicked Triple X black for the first color, so I'm guessing he is staying on wicked for all of them.
Where can I get that stencil?
It took me 5 mins with some CAD expertise and i had the same stencil as them on laser cut mylar film a4 size send me a message im sure we can work something out :)
iCloud you are cool !
+ag vs would you like one?
How do you keep the paint from making your shirt stiff?
creative profile name wash it.
It's pre formulated fabric paint for airbrush.... brands such as Createx , Aqua Flow, etc. It drugs soft and flexible. It is heat set with iron to reduce fading with washing.
Dries....not drugs...lol...dang autospell
sniper accuracy
