how do i stop the jog wheel going forward? bcoz when i put my hand on jog wheel the song still plays but a little slowly which doesn't allow me to scratch between a specific bar.do i need to make any change in the settings? Help....i have the same DDJ 400.

Well the frequency changes with faster scratches because it basically speeds up the song, pushes the waves closer together making a shorter wavelength. Short wavelength=high frequency.
Its a good tip man ty so much. Even i dont understand clearly about the high frecuency. so its like a distortion of sound when scratching?

Check whether or not they are in vinyl mode and that should sort it
