Now I'm confused. It's a standard feature across the range in The UK. I just checked the Irish Volvo website and "Power Operated Tailgate with Handsfree Opening/Closing" is listed as a "Standard Feature" on Momentum, Inscription and R-Design (i.e. the whole range) there too. Am I missing something? Is there a lower spec version available?
Nankov K well here in Ireland they discontinued the D4 for the XC90 it’s just D5, T5 and T8 now. So the base price for a Momentum D5 is €75,970. If you want a D4 you’ll need a used 2018 model.
Maxim Smirnov so there’s a few differences. All XC90’s have dual exhaust, the Inscription and R Design both just have rectangle exhaust outlets. The Inscription has more chrome trim on the outside. It also has different wheels, nappa leather as standard (although the normal momentum leather is every bit as good) the 12.3 inch TFT display, linear walnut wooden trim and there’s a few more I just can’t remember them off the top of my head. A lot of the interior feature on the Inscription can be optioned onto the Momentum such as the nappa leather. There is no bad choice so don’t feel that you need to spend the extra, the Momentum is every bit as good.
Shane. Thanks a lot. Today Im drive R design and Inscription. For me Inscription more suitable, price etc.. But I have some offer for Momentum. Price 10000 euro less than Inscription... What Your opinion?
Maxim Smirnov it really comes down to what features you want. If you want the extras and the little bit of extra styling then go for the Inscription. If however you don’t need a lot of optional features and just the necessities like the rear view camera, CD player and front parking sensors for example then just add them onto the Momentum. Best thing for you to do is go to Volvo’s website and onto the configurator, compare the prices of the different models and standard features on both. Then look at the options and decide what you want and look at the money situation from there.
