    Thanks for all the love on this video! The weird voice stuff you can hear is artefacts from using Adobe Enhance on my voice! The camera audio was really bad so I’ll figure out a better solution for future videos! Cheers!

      Ah, that makes sense. I used to use a shoe mount shotgun microphone. It really upped the quality for my videos when I started using that, and it records direct through the camera's mic input. No post alignment necessary.

    Way underrated video. I was never bored, but that's probably cause of my obsession with slowly building up a better and better home studio. Honestly, the greatest thing I've done so far is get a second monitor (screen, not speaker). Being able to have plugins or faders on one screen and have a clear view of the arrangement on the main screen, it's such a blessing.
    Edit: you forgot about the audio interface. I def wanna hear about that!

    It’ll be cool if you do a cinematic or cinematic + metal composing video ! I would also love to know how you map your midi cc and expressions! Good work man!!

    Great video man! Love seeing the setup.
    Not sure if it is just for me, but there is a slight flutter to your voice throughout the video. Sounds like an audio modulation.

    Super inspiring to see your workspace, and your logic behind it all. I'm beyond happy that I discovered Strandberg through friends of mine, and in turn, discovered you as well. Can't wait to go through all of your master classes this year, keep it up!

    Dude, this is the most open answer honest studio tour. Thanks for covering the room acoustics your mixing gear. Especially Airpods trick, which is great I am glad I am not alone in this. A big solution in a cheaper manner was to use sonarworks for me. So I can rely on the mix on any speaker changes or room acoustics issues. But besides, your studio looks aesthetically amazing and works definitely well. Thanks for the tour!!

    Fantastic setup. I've had similar aspirations for my future studio so it is nice to see how you have pieced all of this together. Something I can refer back to to help me from going overboard and sticking to the sleek style I'm after.👍

    Awesome to see your space man. I'm living in white box land right now and your office is exactly the vibe I want to change this to this year. Also, film photography! I haven't shot film in such a long time. The ilford you used is *chef's kiss*, beautiful shots man!

    Yo Connor! I was wondering if you noticed a difference between ebony and maple fretboards. And if so, wich one is your favourite? Btw, already said it but I just can’t stop watching the video over and over again. It’s going to help me a ton. Have a nice one dude!

  • @mksxntwr

    That's pretty nice space! Btw, why don't you use QC as an audio interface? This way you could eliminate additional A/D conversion and in general less cables = less noise

    So lovely seeing the strand collection! Is there any kind of filter in the video? It looks like it has this kind of bloomy light effect in it that I really enjoy and wanted to learn how to achieve for my own videos. To be honest I'm such a noob at video that I don't even know if bloom is the term that I'm looking for to describe what I meant haha.

    • @ConnorKaminski

      Yeah it’s a mist filter! You can grab them pretty cheap from Tiffin (the black pro mist!)

    I jelous of all your strandbergs. I pre-ordered one a few months ago (the lefty run) but chickened out in the end as I thought im not good enough to justify spening that much on one guitar!. Would have been worth more than all of my others combined.

  • @danmt87

    Great video! Are you still planning to keep the salen classic considering you have now your signature that is pretty similar to the salen? If so, based on the differences you pointed out in your video between them why would you keep both? Is it because of the sound/ feel between them? Looking forward to hear more music from you! Thanks Connor and greetings from Mexico!

    • @ConnorKaminski
      @ConnorKaminski  6 месяцев назад

      The yellow salen classic is a VERY different guitar with a 3 way tele style pickup switch. And the two single coils are very vintage-y voiced which makes the guitar amazing and quite unique :D

      @@ConnorKaminski thanks for the response Connor! Sorry I was talking about your salen classic tremolo that you personalized….I think that one and your signature are really similar so was curious to know if you would keep both and why :)

    Who makes the acoustic panels?

  • @RiperSnifle
    @RiperSnifle 6 месяцев назад

    As you’re in the UK and presumably a terraced or semi detached house, have you done anything for sound leakage for the room? Like a heavy duty door or door shut to try and keep volume down for other people in the house or neighbours? Just curious as I’d like to cut the noise a little in my guitar room in my house. Great room!

    • @ConnorKaminski
      @ConnorKaminski  6 месяцев назад +1

      The house is semi detached yeah! But honestly I don’t have volumes that loud anyways and from my tests (which basically involve turning the speakers up loud, shutting the doors and windows, and sitting outside with a beer 🤣) you can’t hear anything! It’s also worth noting that the room is furthest away from the dividing wall. Hope that somehow helps!! TLDR, I don’t use any real amps and I don’t monitor that loud anyway!!
