I see myself in this man. I am a 31 year old Civil Engineering Technologist and I survive on about 45-50% of my salary. I just finished paying off my vehicle and I'm jumping head first into the property market... I've been scared to do so but I have nothing to lose, Ngingena nge khanda manje.
🎉🎉
My father was a cashier. He taught me how critical it is to save.I bought my 1st and 2nd car cash My 1house cash my 2nd one in 5 yrs
This episode made me realize that Black tax is pulling a lot of young people back. It definitely is giving back to your parents who raised you, raising/assisting with your siblings to make life easier for them, but the truth of the matter is, those who do not have that responsibility are a lot of steps ahead, contingent of the right mindset! This is a lesson to us young people to create a secure future for our kids or build before rushing into marriage/having kids so that we can create a solid financial foundation for them. This is what we call "a legacy", not bringing kids into struggle so that they can take care of you. Lets create a new thing, and not repeat generational burdens!
Percy's laugh makes you want to watch the podcast all over again. You can tell this guys if free.
This is the role the church is supposed to play in our societies. This is the beautiful story, I really love it 🙌🏼❤❤
One thing to take from this is buy assets with your salary and your assets will buy you the life you want 👊
Couldn't have said it better 🤞🤞
Brilliant point🎉
Been saving since a student because of Percy’s teaching.Saved 24k as a final year student so I can be able to start my life as I was planning for employment and moving so I knew I was going to need furniture and transport money. Will be starting my first building project soon in my first year of working, all because of savings and living below my means😊🙏🙏💃🏻
His laugh is contagious. Some of the best advise here is "you are never too old to start"
Very informative
Mdaka is asking valid and relevant questions 🎉😂...I've been asking my self big up grootman
Thanks you for watching, glad you enjoyed it
Gentlemen, what a wonderful watch. Very practical, how he went about his journey. You cannot watch this type of content and not feel discontent if you're not moving your life to better heights. Thanks for the inspiration. We need this fuel.
Percy Singo’s story is a testimony of Gods favor on his life plus wisdom . Wow his story is inspiring . I enjoyed this interview
Glad you enjoyed it.
That's true hey. This is what the role of the church is in our society is. It's exactly what God meant it to be. I love this story 🙌🏼♥️♥️
True, a lot of people will overlook grace and favour plus wisdom, Percy is Blessed
@@bhekimngomezulu7156 that's right. I acknowledge God in his life because I personally know someone who's very good with saving like him and bought her car cash @ R220K, built a house cash in the village and still had savings but contract ended. Got another job and mysteriously it after a year. So for me it's God who elevated Percy and preserved him. It's not just that he can save, there are devourers out there.
Percy just opened my eyes. Am starting saving as of this month.
First year Varsity student here, inspired by Uncle Witty and Sir Percy.
Yooh I'm speechless. This was the best interview ever, as a young professional, I am really inspired. I took Witness's Advise to write down notes and it was really worth it! And ever since I discovered Percy, I am saving more than 50% of my salary, I never knew it's possible. Thank you so much bros.
Love the fact that Percy is not phased by what others think...🙌🔥
We need such information in our school system.
Fully agree, and Thank you for watching
The church is also a school, this is what God meant it to do in our society. Personally I have learnt a lot in church 🙏🏼
It's not by chance that this interview is getting a lot of views, Percy is genuine, realistic and does not succumb to pressure. From the first time I listened to his interview 2 years ago on another platform the guy has not changed his thinking and lifestyle plushe sparked that interest in me to be interested in property, he simplified things. I absolutely enjoyed this interview thanks Witness for bringing him thru.
S/O to our VUT Alumni 😌🔥. Just recently finished my Diploma in HR there too.
12:57 > He is actually telling the truth, I am using the same approach myself!
e.g.: What I do is that I first check how much is:
1. Service fee
2. Admin charge amount
3. Insurance fee
4. Interest charge
other loans don't have all of the above, what You have to do is minus the all the amount from the installment amount and then pay that amount as an extra amount to the loan - this will allow you to pay the loan quicker and the interest charge will drop monthly till you finish paying.
Percy the hard work of your mom at church was big seed for you life
Thank you for what she did knowingly or unknowingly
Favor
That's the truth. For me, I just see God written all over this story. The Bible is the most powerful book and only discovered it two years ago when I got opportunity to study it for myself, so imagine he grew up studying it. I wouldn't be surprised also if he's says he's a tither. God be glorified! 🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️
"I don't remember a day where I ate the rest of the salary and I didn't save for something... Beause there's always a goal that I need to save for." ✅✅
There's power in settig goals 💯🤞🏽
This guy is young and has so much to share. Relatable information. Will use this information although retired.
I don’t get tired of listening to Percy’s story. It is truly inspiring.
Thanks you for this.

Manage yourself first, in order to manage your finances successfully that was so powerful...this tells me that at any age everyone can start properly even after 50 yrs or any business at any age...
Bulletproof Mindset!

Thank you for watching
Thanks Witty for bringing in such brilliant minds.. free financial teaching! easily explained
How do you deal with taxes? How do you structure your business so that the profits don't all go to Sars?
37:44 to 38:40 overcommiting your salary is like eating the seeds you are supposed to sow. When you have something that produces interest, that is the harvest you can eat from. This is my interpretation of the excerpt I highlighted.
❤❤❤❤❤you brought so much light into my life. And this long journey u undertook, surely its practical and much more easier to mimic especially as someone who is still starting from scratch.
I like the point around seminars and spending time with like minded individuals on the business venture that interests you.
Glad you enjoyed it and Thank you for watching
Amen! As a man thinketh... I love what he said when he expresses that it's about the way he looked at his challenges. 23:54 to 24:35 Beautiful ❤

Yoh! I'm learning a lot.
Real education
The challenge of being disciplined is huge
Thank you for watching
Powerful stuff.
Lovely story Mr Percy and Mr Mdaka. The story has hope for everyone from a young person to an adult. Embraces gender empowerment issues.
What is the name of Mr Percy's book? Is it available in Botswana bookshops?
What inspired Percy from my perspective is that, he didn't want to pay for something he doesn't own or will own in future. So he wanted to pay for things he will own on his own. But this comes after he started saving for nothing. Just for patient
Great watch and advise.🙏🙏
Question is...
Did being a civil engineer make it easier to start going into the property space? If so, what challenges can someone who is not in the construction space expect? AND what is the bridge that they can use to manage and get ahead?
I always hear them say do what you know, especially when it comes to investing and investments.
Anyone can be in property investment you don't have to be a Civil engineer.
Insightful 🙌🏾
Tsiwana ilaiwa dilani,..very true Pressure makes us to die in debts, it's possible to save more that 50% of ur salary.ppl must starting using wat they have for their advantage, ur company is giving u car or accommodation why don't use that as an advantage to save I'm nt saying abuse the company assets 😂
Oh what a testimony
So inspiring broo🫡🫡❤️Salute you grootman Mdaka
LOOL ey yah the laugh of the guy🤣🤣🤣
Percy's believe in himself tamed those challenges. That's what is called Placebo effect
I studied at Vaal, in 2010 when he started in service I was starting my course at vut , but 6k in 2010 was a lot, I got the same money in 2019
Meeting of the minds
Unfortunately as a person who have to take care of parents, car, building home back in the villages….I can not relate to this Gentleman’s story. But nice one though
But your attitude will make you not learn. I work for 15years, 10 years I was built a house at home, pay car. Paying school fees for 2kids, pay university as I don't qualify for nfsas, looking after my parents, etc. From 2019 to date I have managed to invest 500k.my savings are more than 100k so just learn one day you able to save like him or have more
@@tshifhiwamudau6929 at least you are saying you have raised your wealth within a period of 10 - 15 years. That i can relate. Even i with that period i can be able to achieve all these. What i can not achieve is saving 20k each month while having all these responsibilities mentioned here above. And that is where I draw the line of not relating to the guest's story. I am not sure if that is attitude or just being realistic of my situation
What a wow❗❗❗❗
This is outstanding Percy Singo
