How to Correctly and Easily Remove a Handlebar Weight from a CB500x

This video will explain the correct way to remove the handlebar weight and also the easy way, which unfortunately, aren't the same. I will show you the tools you need and how to use them.

How would the duct tape immobilize the bar end piece if the grip you tape it to rotates as well?

You are trying to keep the metal bar end stationary in respect to the grip. Just roll the tape around a few times.
