Wow. Maddie 58 count you picked up today and some new ones for me. I love keeping track of your seashells. My favorites are the Long Tailed Spindle, Smoky Goblet Whelk and the two different Venus shells. Thank you so much. I needed you today. Bearsy dachshund has been a handful for me lately. Take care Maddie. XXOO TRUDY
G'day Trudy 👋🏻💖 Wow, so many today!! It was a long video, but there is also an 8 minute video with shell outtakes on my Facebook page, so that total is probably even higher for this section of the day! The Smokey Goblet Whelk was really cool; nice to have one of those to take home! The Venus clams were pretty fun today too ❤️ Awwwww no Trudy, I'm sorry to hear that Bearsy has been a little hellion 😲 he is just a bundle of energy and biting 😭 I'm glad I could be here for you for a distraction. Can't wait to bring you the next one too, thank you for being here, Trudy 💖
Hey Maddie! G"day to ya. Those Smith's basket clams are new to me. I love that burnt edge rock shell. The half cockle is new to me too. Oh no the scary murex shells are still perfectly imperfect. Wow the rusty cronie is new also. I'm loving this. The baler shell just pops. There we go our fav moon snails! I LOVE that yellow/green moon snail with the blue Paul Newman eye. The blue bladder snail is awesome. Oh my fav so far that tan and black moon snail. My favorite today is that moon snail you like the best of the moon snails. Thank you for a wonderful adventure. So many new shells for me. I love learning about all your shells. Sometimes I can almost imagine being there with you. Until next time, stay safe my friend. See ya later.
G'day Anita 🐚❤ Good day to you ;) Ohhh the Basket Clams! I have found them a few times before, but this was the first time that I've actually remembered their name and been able to say it on the day - I'm always learning!! The Half Cockle is definitely a new one, so that was super exciting! The Rusty Cronia I think I've been miss identifying too... I usually see small orange ones of those at the regular beach 😅 so see them large and like Where's Waldo was a bit confusing before now. And YES I KNEW YOU'D LIKE THE MOON SNAILS!!! I'm stoked that you enjoyed these absolutely lovely seashells with their lovely blue eyes. I got some really lovely ones this time (and in the next episode too) so yes, thank you, I will take those home with me 😂 Oh and the tan and black seashell; that must be the Conical Moon Snail? I found a few that day, but I think I only filmed on of them; I feel a bit regretful now seeing as how it was your favourite. I'm thrilled that you loved the adventure though, thank you so much for watching ❤❤❤
Good morning Maddie! There’s no way I could choose a favorite but the Long tailed spindle, all of the the bladder moon snails, the tweed murex and the commercial flats along with your contagious laugh and excitement…. Wow! Thank you for this video!
G'day Lorraine 👋🏻💖 Oh wow, the Long Tailed Spindle is your favourite today ❤️ wow, I really should head back to Toogoom beach and maybe find some nicer Spindles over there where they're more common... I love these shells quite a lot too 🤩 but I keep coming back here for the Bladder Moon Snails 🐌 hehe, oh gosh, I don't know if my laugh is a good one or a silly one, but thank you so laughing along with me today, Lorraine 🥰
Good afternoon, Maddie Wow, you find some amazing shells at Harvey Bay. Wow so many lovely moon snails. I love the blending of colors and the dark swirling in them. Still have a couple 1sts for me, the smokey goblet whelke, and the false latiaxis. Love the venus shells, basket clam, jingles, dog whelkes, bailer shells, Rick shell, half cockle, Haynes turban, strawberry top shell, strombus- the second one was very lovely. The giant mangrove whelkes were very nice ,nutmegs, wonderful clam. The wintaletrap even the broken one shows the size of that shell. The telescope snail was awesome. The shells you find at Harvey Bay today as always are just so beautiful. I really enjoy all of your shelling videos. You make my day so much better and I want to thank you for that. Even if I am having a rough day your shelling videos always help my day brighter. Thank you Maddie I hope you have an amazing day.😊
G'day Toni 🐚❤ Hehe, the beach is just littered with amazing shells at Hervey Bay (or the beach right next to it in this case). I spend about 6 hours there and it's just never enough time - I search less than half of the entire beach, but I do go slow! It's worth it when I find those moon snails!! The colours are just spectacular. As for the firsts, yes, the Goblet Whelk is a new one, hooray, I love finding the new shells. The False Latiaxis is actually not new, I just miss identified it before, so this is the first time that I've actually called it by it's correct name in a video 😅😂 before, I called it a Coral Shell, which was wrong... but in my defense, it did look quite similar to me while I was researching it! Oh my goodness Toni, you've remembered all of the shells so well, even the new Half Cockle and Dog Whelk, wow, I can barely keep up with you! Aw gosh, I'm so, so glad that I can make your day better with a shelling adventure. Same with the shelling adventures from other RUclipsrs too, I'm glad that we can all improve your day. Stay strong Toni; you deserve the best that life can give you and then some ❤❤❤❤❤
G'day Grace 👋🏻🐚 Hehe, the Lovely Wentle Boi?? I love the Wentletraps from this beach; I've counted at least 4 different species of Wentletraps there, pretty amazing 🤩 thank you so much for watching 🥰
Good day Maddie, Back from Seattle Washington. I'm quite disappointed. The weather was aweful and we never got to the Beach. As I was also informed in order for us to get an actual ocean beach we'd have to take a ferry. I forgot about the Puget sound. You know like a gulf. It was wonderful seeing my family. Lots of wind and lots of rain. Loved your video today. Lots of beautiful shells. My favorites are the scallop shells and that huge wentletrap. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next one..
G'day Roberta 🐚❤ It's lovely to have you back, I'm so pleased that you had a safe trip... but oh no!! It's a big bummer about all of the rain and bad weather; how dare it happen on such a special trip! I hope the graduation was lovely regardless. Also, dang, a ferry to get to the beach, ooooh, that would not have been good in bad weather, so it's probably for the best that you gave it a miss. I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't get to have your own shelling adventure, but still; see your family is usually even better than shelling 😂 You can come shelling with me any day, Roberta! Thank you so much for watching ❤❤❤
G'day Nikoleta 👋🏻💖 Oh yes, the beach is quite a long one! I need a lot of time to look through all of the shells too 🐚 I still have not walked the entire beach!! Thank you so much for watching 🥰
@SandCoffeeRocks Please, Maddie. You are very lucky that you have beautiful beaches ⛱️ near your home with very beautiful shells. 😍 I would like to ask you something, is the shell 🐚 poisonous, only this shell exists in Australia 🇦🇺, is it poisonous; Thank you very much 😊.
Hey Nikoleta 🐚 We do have poisonous sea shells; the cone shells are all poisonous, and some can even be fatal☠️ Cone shells everywhere are poisonous, even the ones in the USA 🇺🇸 lots of dangerous cones are in the Pacific Ocean and Asian countries, not just Australia 🇦🇺
Hi Maddie As usual for Harvey Bay the Moon shells shine through. A couple of nice Murex shells and some great shells in the mangroves as well the Murex shells. Thanks again for sharing your experiences.
G'day Aussie Dirt Digger 👋🏻💖 Oh yes, the shells at Hervey Bay are just so numerous and beautiful 😍 the shells at the mangroves are always a lot of fun; though I was hoping to find a few more brackish water shells this time 🐚 but there is always next time! Thank you so much for watching 🥰
My heart skipped some beats when I seen all those lovely shell piles, 😍. My favourite shells today are the scary murex, burnt edge rock shell, rusty crone shell, and the baler... with honorable mention to the dark dog whelk and half cockle.
G'day Oceanluvn Gal 👋🏻🌊💖 Hehe seeing all of those shells was simply amazing 🤩 and wow, the Scary Murex, Rock Shell, Baler, and Rusty Cronia shells get the special mention this time 🐚🐚🐚🐚 so many favourites!! I'm so glad that you enjoyed all of the amazing shells from this trip 😎 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
G'day Reet 👋🏻💖 I know right, there is just a beach full o' goodies ✨🐚✨ Hehe, the moon snails are really the best here 🐌 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Hi Maddie!!! Hervey Bay, YEAH!!!! 😊 Very pretty Burnt-edge Rock Shell 🐚 ❤ The Jeweled Dog Welk, so nice! 😮 The Haynes Turbans are so pretty from there.. The Smokey Goblet Welk is my favorite one today! The Rusty Cronia gets a shoutout!!! Can’t wait to see part two!!! ❤❤ TTFN! Stay Safe😊
G'day Mimi 👋🏻💖 Hahaha yes, Hervey Bay comes through with more amazing shells 😍 and I'm already planning to go back again in the next week or two; just SO much fun!! Oh my goodness, I'm so pleased that you liked the Nutmegs, Rock Shells, Dog Whelk and Turbans!! Wow, the Smokey Goblet Whelk was the favourite this time 🤩 it was such a cool one to find 😎 I've seen them closer to where I live: their colours are much darker than the one I found here... I might find another one day?? Oh, and part two is already up for watching, I'll have to put a link to it in the video. Thanks for watching 🥰
Hi Maddie, What a wonderful day at Harvey Bay. I loved all the moon shells. The moon shells are not a colorful here in the states. I do hope you will have a part two to this adventure. Keep shelling! 🐚🐚🥰🥰🥰
G'day Katherine 👋🏻💖 It was a beautiful day, and I'm already checking which day I should go back there next weekend/weekend 😁 Aww, I reckon your USA moon snails are pretty nice; what about the Gaudy Nauticas? What about the giant Shark Eyes with beautiful dark blues in them from sediment changes (I was extremely fortunate to be gifted on like that from a lady in Texas) I think your moons are wonderful ❤️🐌 but I will say, being able to find so many colour moon snails at Hervey Bay because of the sediment in the mudflats here...it's pretty spectacular 😍 and yes, the part two is already filmed and I'll be editing it soon for my Friday video release 😉 Thank you for watching, and I hope you're looking forward to the next one too 🥰
Wish I could be there is Australia. I am wAY too far from shelling beaches. Thanks for sharing your beach-combing. You are super excitable, a refreshing break. ❤️
G'day Gasp 👋🏻🐚 Australia has so many beaches that if you visited a new one every day, you'd need more than 30 years to see them all! Crazy, that's an actual true fact, but you can certainly visit many beaches in one day if you wanted to 😉 I'm sorry to hear that you're so far away from the seashells, I don't envy that 😔 but I'm glad that I could bring them a little closer to you today 🐚 Thank you so much for coming along on an upbeat and excitable shelling adventure 🥰
G'day Erin 👋🏻💖 in no time scientist, but I think the tides are like that everywhere right now because of the moon/tide cycle right now? The app I use to check the tides have a graph which shows the different tide levels really well 🌊 onto the shells 🐚 SOB that wentletrap would have been amazing!!!! But, it just give me hope that I'll be able to find a perfect and huge Imperial Wentletraps from there one day; it's bound to happen! I also love the Balers too, and one day, I know I'll also find a perfect and huge one here too 🤩 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Oh I hate that huge Wentletrap wasn’t whole. 😭😭😭 That would have been an amazing find! What a fun day for you (and me as well watching)! 🎉 I really liked the black and gold jingle shell because of the texture it took on. My favorite today was the dog whelk with the big thick lip! ❤️ All the shells were beautiful. Love it when you go to that beach! Thank you Maddie! 🥰🥰🥰
G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 Haha, I know, but it gives me hope that I'll find a big and whole Imperial Wentletrap someday at Hervey Bay 🥲 but yes, it was such a fun day, and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it so much as well 😁 That jingle was really cool 😎 (actually, I liked all of them today) but YESSS I'm so glad that my favourite Dark Dog Whelks also has another fan in the comments; I thought I was alone is liking it 🤣 but gosh, the shells are just wonderful from here, and I'm already planning my next day trip back there 🏖️ Thank you, as always, for joining the adventures, Pam 🥰
Hey Lady! Love the Hervey Bay shells especially the flats. Some of the Venus shells you found resemble ones we find in SE Florida. Check out the Imperial Venus and Lady in Waiting Venus. 😊🌴
G'day Trina 👋🏻💖 The flats there are amazing, I'm so glad that you enjoyed watching them today 🤩 Oh yes indeed, some of our Venus shells are very similar to Florida ones! I've been lucky enough to have been sent some Imperial Venuses, and they really do look a lot like the Flinder's Venuses that I find here. The Lady in Waiting Venus I needed to Google, and yes, it really does look like the Frilled Venus clams that I see here too! Thank you so much for joining my beach adventures 🥰 🏖️
G'day Darren 👋🏻🐚 Oh wow, a local!!! I'd love to live up your way, it's like a slice of paradise 🏖️ that's not yet swarmed by tourists like the Sunny Coast is 🤣 do you often go shelling there, or do you leave all the goodies for me like me who do a big day trip?? 😉 I bet you've found some amazing ones of your shelling walks 🐚 and please, if you see me out there one day, be sure to say "G'day" 👋🏻 Thank you so much for watching 🥰 I really love your home ⛱️
@@ShellingAdventures Hi Maddie, Yes I go shelling 2 or 3 times a week on Toogoom and Dundowran beaches, also like going around Point Vernon. Hopefully see you one day. 🙂🐚
Oh wow! I’ve always meant to go to Point Vernon, but I never seem to have the time while I’m up there! Plus, a few people told me that they didn’t see many shells there in the past 🤔 but I’ll have to investigate one day!
@@ShellingAdventures Hi Maddie. it's the only place I have ever found sea glass around wide bay. Some fantastic coral pieces. Also the only place I have ever found a Cowie. Plus it's just so nice there and also the only place around here with rock pools.🙂
Oh wow, that's very interesting!! I have actually found perhaps half a dozen faded cowries at Dundowran now; I just don't film them much because they don't stand out as much as the cowries on the Sunshine Coast. I didn't know Point Vernon had rock pools though; it must be were the live cowries live?? Also, super interesting about the seaglass and coral; I don't remember seeing much or any of that at Dundowran or Toogoom! I feel like I never have enough time on my day trips... I keep telling myself to leave at, like, 3AM so I have an extra few hours to spend there!! Thanks for the beads up about Point Vernon, Darren 🥰 (also, I've been curious, has anything I've found at Dundowran surprised you, or do you think I've mostly only found "the usual" shells that you've collected before? I'd like to think that I can show you something new in your home town, but maybe not 🤣)
I happened upon your channel and I love your excitement and thrill of the hunt...lol...I found Sharmon's channel SWF Beach Life and have enjoyed her shelling adventures as well. I just subscribed and look forward to more videos. Take care and cheers from Ontario, Canada. ( I live near the shores of Lake Huron...no shells to speak of here.)
G'day Crafts and Cards 👋🏻🐚 Oh my goodness, thank you so much for finding me ❤️ I'm thrilled that you enjoy the shelling adventures, and even my high energy when I find something special 😍 and gosh, I also enjoy seeing the shells at Sharmon's channel as well; she is certainly one of the best shellers around! Hello to you in Ontario, by the way 😲 bit of a shame about the lack of shells... No land snails either? At the very least, I'm sure the scenery around Lake Huron is simply amazing 🤩 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
@@ShellingAdventures Nice to hear from you and yes we do have land snails but I don't see them often. I sure would love to spend a day shelling and find some of the lovely shells you collect ! Have a good day and take care...Wanda
I think land snails are pretty awesome 😎 I hope you suddenly find a good place for shelling for them 😉 but ahh, I wish even more than you had some closer coastal beaches to check out too. Thanks again, Wanda ☺️
Hi Maddie, loved the bladder moon snails, they remind me of planets. The jewelled dog whelks were great too. It’s official, you are a stinky strombus sniffer 😂. Let’s hope a bleach soak sorts that out for you. How big was that wentle trap! Really lovely display at the end. ❤xxxx
G'day Alison 👋🏻💖 Don't you judge me, ALISON! It's very important to know how stinky it is for reasons!!! REASONS 😆!!!! Stinky nice shells are not allowed to go into my backpack for safekeeping 😅 I hope the bleach sorts them out too: though I've noticed that one of the strombuses I've brought back actually has its original operculum still in it 😲 I'll need to, uhhh, dig it out first 🥲 or maybe just bleach it all; it might be ok?? I don't know, anyway!! Oh wow, how come the Bladder Moon Snails remind you of planets? Is it because of the colour striations are a bit like how Jupiter looks, in a way? Aww thanks Alison, I'm thrilled that you liked the display 🐚✨ it's hard at this beach because there isn't any rocks to display the shells on, so it's either the sand, or that one faller tree that's big enough for everything 🤣 Thanks for watching 🥰
@@ShellingAdventures Maddie I’m not one to judge, what you do with stinky shells is totally your business😂😂😂😂 but yes I see a bleach bath heading your way for those smelly individuals and they know who they are! 😂😂😂🤣. Yes you totally got it re the moon snails (the clue is in the name) that the swirly colours and the shape are planetesque. Each one is unique and the colours never disappoint. I feel quite excited when you find one and we see what colour combo it is when you unearth them. Really lovely. 🥰xxxxx
G'day Cynthia 👋🏻💖 Hehehe, they really are lovely. I will let everyone know if I ever think about seeling shells (there has been plenty of interest, but I'm hesitant to take on another layer of work/stress to complete and package orders 😅) as the moment, I'm just trying to fill my big jar with the most intact moon snails possible, and I'm still a long way off from completing it 🤣 Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Guadalupe 👋🏻💖 They are so fantastic 😍 the colours are just a little different each time; just a little unique 😉 very cool. Thank you so much for watching 🥰
G'day Carol 👋🏻💖 The shells here are just amazing 🤩 I think I'll be going back here a little more often for the next few weeks because the usually beach id VERY popular right now with the school holidays starting in a few days. It is the winter school holidays down here though, so maybe it won't be so bad 🤔? Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Lady Sylvia 👋🏻🐚 Sooo many cool shells: the beach is just non-stop with it's wracklines 🤩 and yeah, the Baler shells can get HUGE!! A few species in particular can be quite giant...maybe I'll find one like that someday 😉 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
❤ morning Maddie. Love watching you in the morning and drink my coffee with you. I have alot of favorites but I have to pick only three. It was very hard but here they are 🐚🐚 #1 has to be the smpkey goblet whelk, #2 is the straanger's scallop and #3 is the telescope snail. Have to say another great day of shelling for you. Can't wait for the next video from this beach. You found some shells that I'm going to send you that I don't know the names. Thank you again for your time and great video's 🎬🎬. I watched the video that you where drawing ninja' s friend and have to say you are a great artist also. ♥️♥️ Love to you ans ninja 🐈 from all of us. I don't know if I tlod you but poo poos mom monkey had 4 little ones about 6 weeks ago and they all are boys. I have 3 black and one gray, the gray one is name squirt from finding Nemo due to loving the beaches and water. See you in the next video and plz be safe out there ❤❤❤🎉🎉😅😅😂😂
G'day Sheila 🐚❤ Woohoo!! I'm worthy of coffee! I'm actually pretty pleased about this; I make my morning coffee too and then decide on my favourite new book chapter to read with it, and it's always the one I'm most eager to read. Thank you for letting me take you to the beach while having that special first coffee of the day. Hahaa and gosh Sheila, you don't need to limit yourself to just three favourite ;) but wow, they did surprise me!! Love the Goblet Whelk too, but wow, the Stange's Scallop and Telescope Snail caught your eye today too! And WHAT you watched the cat drawing video???? So strange that that video popped up for you??? Um, thank you for watching that one too - I keep telling myself to put them on over to private, but something keeps telling me to leave it public. I do love to draw, but I haven't done much since I started shelling 😅 and NO, I had no idea that Salt and Pepper's grandmother Monkey had babies!! WOW so, do you have Monkey and the babies in your home, or is this news from Monkey's owner? Wow, so is it only Squirt who is with you, or all of them, so, uh, 8 cats in your home?? I mean, either way, wow, so many kitties to love!!! Thank you so much for watching, and all the love back to you and your big fur family!! ❤❤❤
@@ShellingAdventures the drawing of ninja friend is so much like salt but where the light orange is for him salt is white and thw same brown is the same. I almost thought tou where doing salt( haha). Can't wait to see if you video come out today ♥️♥️♥️.
G'day Veronica 👋🏻🐚 it sure does look like a Lion's Paw, doesn't it! Unfortunately, we don't have Lion's Paws washing up on Australian beaches 🏖️ we just don't get that shell here, or any of the other Florida shells like Shark Eyes or Lace Murexes (we do get similar ones though)! This scallop today should be the Strange's Scallop (Decatopecten strangei) - sometimes their colours and patterns are just mind blowing! Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Billie 👋🏻🐚 Click around on my video's page a big 😉 you'll find the answer, and the engagement will help me out a tonne! Sorry for being coy, but it's not too hard to investigate, and it really assists me so much. Thanks for watching 🥰
G'day Cindy 👋🏻🐚 Hmm, tough question. I don't think any SPECIFIC shells symbolizes eternity. I think ALL shells symbolize: strength, renewal, rebirth, and eternity. I think all shells are as good as each other when it comes to symbolic meaning 🐌❤️🐚

What about the giant Shark Eyes with beautiful dark blues in them from sediment changes (I was extremely fortunate to be gifted on like that from a lady in Texas) I think your moons are wonderful ❤️🐌 but I will say, being able to find so many colour moon snails at Hervey Bay because of the sediment in the mudflats here...it's pretty spectacular 😍 and yes, the part two is already filmed and I'll be editing it soon for my Friday video release 😉 Thank you for watching, and I hope you're looking forward to the next one too 🥰
Oh that black/gold jingle! ❤
G'day Terry 👋🏻🐚 Hehe, that Jingle was simply gorgeous with that amazing contrast 🤩 Thank you so much for watching 🥰
The moon shells were outstanding
They are just so amazing here; each and every one has a unique swirly of colour on it because of how the environment has influenced them. So amazing 🤩
Those tides at Hervey bay are crazy! That broken imperial wentletrap hurt my heart 😭 but I love those chonky baby balers.
G Day Maddie. Love the baler shells
G'day Donna 👋🏻💖 They are wonderful shells, aren't they?? Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Another great video Maddie, love that beach. I live right near there. It’s a great place to go shelling, lots of good varieties!
Thanks for the vid.
I'd like to think that I can show you something new in your home town, but maybe not 🤣)
The moon shells are beautiful.
G'day Lisa 👋🏻🐚 They really are gorgeous moon snails 🐌❤️ I'm so glad that you liked seeing them as well 🥰
I happened upon your channel and I love your excitement and thrill of the hunt...lol...I found Sharmon's channel SWF Beach Life and have enjoyed her shelling adventures as well.
🥰xxxxx
Oh my goodness Maddie I love love love your moon shells! If you ever want to sell any of them please let me know thanks!
The bladder moon snails have fantastic color. 🐌🐚🐕🥰🇺🇸
G'day Guadalupe 👋🏻💖 They are so fantastic 😍 the colours are just a little different each time; just a little unique 😉 very cool. Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Harvey bay has great shells. Love smaller shells
Amazing find how I really wish to have them also,,luck u are,,you are in a nice country to have a amazing shell
G'day Cindy 👋🏻🐌 Australia is wonderful for seashells 🐚 what kind of shells can you find in Trinidad? Thank you so much for watching 🥰
Hello! Lots of cool shells! Do Baler shells grow huge? Thought I saw a giant one in a video! Have a lovely day!❤
G'day Lady Sylvia 👋🏻🐚 Sooo many cool shells: the beach is just non-stop with it's wracklines 🤩 and yeah, the Baler shells can get HUGE!!
That scallop is a lions paw!
Hey where abouts is this beach on Hervey Bay?
Would loveee to come.
Is there still heaps of shells?
G'day Billie 👋🏻🐚 Click around on my video's page a big 😉 you'll find the answer, and the engagement will help me out a tonne! Sorry for being coy, but it's not too hard to investigate, and it really assists me so much. Thanks for watching 🥰
Hi can I ask if any kind of shell that specific simbolis for enternaty?
G'day Cindy 👋🏻🐚 Hmm, tough question. I don't think any SPECIFIC shells symbolizes eternity. I think ALL shells symbolize: strength, renewal, rebirth, and eternity. I think all shells are as good as each other when it comes to symbolic meaning 🐌❤️🐚
