I like the direction your videos are going in. Adding real life outside the studio is interesting. Seeing real life of musicians in different countries , I find interesting too. Keep it please. Maybe see you on your motorcycle in the summer.
Lewin, I'm really enjoying your channel and the diversity of your videos is wonderful. I have been able to create some reasonable sounding music for my own enjoyment thanks to all your tips and hints! and now you have just pushed me in the direction of a new set of monitors, i currently own a set of aged Yorkville's YSM1 they are ok but i feel they sound kind of choked and it's been on my list for a while now. So once again thank you and do keep it up, you are helping a lot of us!

@@GaragebandandBeyond Man i went and bought myself a set of the A7x and you are so right they blow my mind! so much detail and mine are not even broken in yet! I also run my turntable through a Rane MP-4 DJ interface i picked up some years ago (really great pice of gear but quite rare to find now) . I've been listening to Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack duos, the harmonies are sooooo rich and so incredible. Thank you for steering me down this path man!

I love my adams a7x wouldn’t change them ... there’s so many reviews out there and some aren’t true ... I think they hate to admit how good they are and they haven’t done the proper breaking .... great video 👏👏👏👏

Good selection of monitors. I use almost the same setup except I have the A77x, MTM and MixCubes. Have to agree on the Adams. Incredibly clear and flat. What you hear is what it IS. A dream for mixing.
What aboutbthe MTM's ?
Had a pair of JBL 4430 for 10 years and upgrade to 4435 that I've found in mint condition. These are my all time ultimate monitor.
I think having iloud micro for general purpose testing and a7x for main mixing is the best option there is.
Start with iloud micro and when you have budget go to a7x

I have a pair of Focal Alpha’s for my
main monitors and a pair of ADAM T5V for my secondary pair, I’m going to upgrade those to the A7X but in the mean time they get me at least close to the ADAM sound with their ribbon tweeter. My mixes immediately got better once I upgraded from my JBL/Yamaha set up.
