- CORRECTION: I just move it one beat earlier, the tempo is on the quarter notes at 145. It switches from when the kick hits to the snare drum before
This isn't for everyone I know, but if it works for you it'll be GOLD!! I hope it helps you find the magic you're looking for!

very good trick! but i think it's not on the "and" of the beat, but just one beat earlier, cause the tempo is on the quarter notes at 145. from the kick simply switched to the snare drum before :)
Oh SHIT YOU are CORRECT!!!! LOL Ok Everyone, this comment is the one to listen to. Plus go watch everything on his channel. He's a MONSTER on the drums and my old Drummer from when I loved in Italy. GRAZIE!!
@@GaragebandandBeyond loooooove you!
This is a trick I've never heard before. I love how simple but very effective it is.
Awesome tip! Noted!
I thought I was on the wrong channel because of your mustache. Lol! Thanks for sharing!
Wow , very cool!
LOVE this video !
It definitely changes the feel, but I kinda prefer the original personally!
Cool move!
It lines up the lyrics.
So my question isn’t necessarily with the topic in the video, but looking at your session I see you have two drummer tracks loaded. Can you explain what your doing there? Are you separating the kit for the mix? Thanks man!
Cool
I would have liked to hear them 1/4 note late......and I didn't love them early.....different strokes
Big difference, different vibe completely!
AND!!!!! Don't know where to ask this. Is there a way, ( and should you not if there is) record something like a bass part with compression? Is it not necessary because you can compress it later? I realize that I could use a pedal compressor.
Great lesson and great song and great vocals. But gotta ask, why the wooden block? I don't get things like that, something clanking in the background. All my 2 cents. Love what you do my friend.
Wow can def tell the difference
cool video. do you still like to use the kaotica eyeball to record vocals with? had heard your video about it from a few years ago. thanks!
I used to use it a lot. That thing is really cool, but after I acoustically treated my studio, I gave it to a friend that needed it more than me. But hey do work and they are cool.
Hey Lewin....I am salvaging a live recording of my band doing an original. The recorder motor must have been fast. I want it in 440 so I can fix and add stuff. I opened pitch shifter, and it automatically came up +7 . Is that some arbitrary thing or is GarageBand trying to tell me something?????????
