Being local is a great point. I guess Ukraine is sort of conservative(comparing to western world). But also living in places besides Kviv requires decent language skills too. I guess tourists would have a way better chance if they speak Russian/Ukrainian. So I'd make sure that I can have basic conversation in Russian before coming over.

Quality women which are in my definition of the word, good looking, educated, well-mannered and determined to work and earn their money using their brains and not their femininity, you just cannot find and if you do happen to have the luck to find one such, you then find them already having a good life and a lot of options and having no need to give up everything and move to your country. As Conner says, unless u r willing to move to Ukraine to live there permanently, u have to accept getting what is left over by local men.

Women there have traditional values and they are serious. I was there to enjoy the city, not seeking for any quick dating and it showed. Women, there, can "radar" guys with cheap intentions. Conversely, they also quickly notice when your goals are noble. I really enjoyed Odessa, and I will be back soon.

At least in NYC, most slavic immigrants are already married lol. They either came with their husband, or came after he already got settled. And, by virtue of being "ethnic communities", many will only date OTHER slavs. This is even more pronounced among slavic neighborhoods in the UK! Of course, there ARE single slavic ladies in NYC, who are willing to date outsiders. But, most are probably divorced single moms & struggling models. And good luck getting the latter.
