This was an old meme, but those bros, the Bakusquad are like a bunch of condiments. Mayo (Bakugo), Ketchup (Kirishima), Mustard (Kaminari) and Soy Sauce (Sero).
If you add Midoriya as Bakugo's childhood friendo, he's Wasabi (but darker).
Bakugou has anger issues and bad attitude but I don't think Bakugou will ever use someone's trauma against them. That's just pure evil.

Because of course if it is a Pro Hero it is not kidnapping -_-
Basically if he uses too much ice he gets frost bite and if he uses too much fire he overheats so he has to balance them both
What potentially makes him super strong is that each side of his quirk counteracts the drawbacks of the other side. And he’s already strong with just the ice.

The way Shinso's quirk works is it's said that the other person needs to answer one of his questions, but it's enough to just respond, even as little as a 'hm' would probably count as a response and he can brainwash them. He's great at making people talk.

6:58 I respectfully disagree. Shinso likely has more combat potential then he does as an interrogator. His main issue is his over reliance on his quirk. It would of been possible to defeat those robots without a quirk, but he didn't have the physical training needed to make up for that. In a battle without quirks Deku quickly defeated him. His quirk is also harder to counter than you might think. Deku did know what the activation conditions were, but still slipped up when he got angry. It would be hard for street level thugs to hold their tongue when facing him, especially if they have more than one thing to worry about.
Personally I think Deku has more potential as a detective than Shinso, as he has a more analytical mind. Its something he could of done if All Might hadn't given him super powers. He has spent years studying superheroes and keeps detailed notes on all of them.
Also while Shinso's quirk is called brainwashing, I feel mind control is a better description. As far as I know there is no time limit, but his hold over them is rather fragile. For all I know it will wear off if they sleep. Normally people under it's effects will blackout, which is why Ojiro doesn't remember anything, Deku is just a rather odd case.
Todoroki can 100% get stronger than his father and mother(actually her mother is not a hero) he can get super cold and super hot but if he uses a lot of ice he can get frostbite, if he makes an intense fire, he can hurt himself... there is a limit, but because he has this power, he is more durable against ice and fire!
its was a knee jerk reaction. Midoriya didn't weigh the pros and cons before he spoke he was just upset and acted out in anger. He's a good guy and shinso took advantage of that. He shouldn't of said anything it was a dumb mistake but that's the why at least.
I don't think this is a spoiler per se, but up until now (in the anime and I believe in the manga too) this are the students that don't seems to have a down side of their quirks: Mina (the acid girl), sero (the one that fought todoroki this episode), tsuyu (frog girl), jiro (the girl with the things on the ears), ojiro (the guy with the tail), koda (his quirk wasn't show yet, but it's the guy that looks like a rock and doesn't talk), shoji (the guy with multiples arms) and toru (the invisible girl).
Then you have momo (she doesn't have a down side per se, but need some stuff to make her quirk work) and kirishima (his quirk, hardening, has a "down side" not that big that you will see in a few episodes if it's not the next one)

It looks like the creator went for "strong quirk = down side, not to strong/flashy = no down side or just a little one"
There is only one character (in the class 1a) that show no down side if use its quirk correctly, but I don't want to spoil anything (it's shown in these season)
this was a great ep love the way how this world works some heroes can be great at stuff so not all heroes are prefect for everything hope this makes sense

Honestly...it's a human response to speak when spoken to, it's done without thought and all a person has to do is understand your character and say something you don't like and boom you reply instantly.
Its not the quirk STRENGHT which gives ppl their position in the hero society.....IT MATTERS HOW MUCH U DEVELOP IT AND MAKE IT STRONG💪
The part where the previous users show up and help deku always gives me chills

Combat is exactly what Shinzo's power excels at. He can instantly neutralize and capture any villain, not matter how powerful, just by tricking them into responding to him.
Also, he can't make people talk with his power, so it's useless for investigation.
Ngl, Shinso made me tear up bad when i first watched this. Like, imagine how much it hurt him to have his power make him seem like a villainous dude when all he wants is to become a hero.
