The funny thing about Hawks is, in the manga, he just.... kinda popped up out of nowhere. Like, there was pretty much zero mention of him in the story prior to the hero billboard rankings. At least the anime went to the trouble of dropping his name a couple of times before reaching this point in the story, lol. Anyway, epic season finale coming up next! 😉
So how did the manga explain where tokoyami went to do his internship then? I’m curious

Tsukuyomi is Tokoyami's Hero Name, like Red Riot for Kirishima, their internship supervisors call the students by their alias.
You ladies finally get to meet Hawks. I have a feeling you guys are going to dig him a lot. One of the coolest characters in the series.

Kota did write a letter to Midoriya.
He showed it to All Might and his mom when she did not want to let him in the dorms.
In it Kota thanked Midoriya for saving him...and apologized for punching him in the balls...lol.
I actually really like what Endeavour said at the ranking. I think he recognises that at this point with the history of his public image there isn’t anything fancy he can say that will convince the public he is worthy of number one. And he doesn’t think he is worthy either as he wanted to be number by BEATING Allmight, which he never could so…he’s just gonna gonna let his actions speak for him instead.
what Hawks is saying isnt entirely wrong either 14:05 😅 At first I was caught offguard, but when I watched back it makes sense
Also when he was like "i want to make the society where hero has lots of free time" I was like ???, but he meant he wanted to make a world where there are no crimes anymore, a safe world (in a way)
It's a "blink and you miss it" detail, but in the ending (23:38) you can see what looks like a destroyed polaroid picture next to Hawks' photo. The groupings of the polaroids aren't a coincidence either! You got all the UA sports festival pictures together, all the UA school festival pictures together, etc. Also in the big group shot of all the current UA students in their rooms, you can see Mirio in the bottom right being the only one that's crying.

The age for La Bravo is an easy mistake especially for us that don't read Japanese, In the flash back when she first sees Gentles videos the books behind her are College or University books on computing but they aren't translated so unless you read Japanese characters or have seem previous comment sections like I have you sort of miss it

Season 4 was my favorite with both overhaul arc and gentle arcs being great.

Hawks and Mirko are here. And they are iconic. Little fun fact, the second MHA movie came out around the middle of S4. So a lot of anime-only fans were introduced to him through the movie. But that movie also has spoilers for early, mid, and late S5 so I'd recommend holding off on watching it.
This man AFO has been in prison for an entire season and he's still finding ways to troll people. The level of petty on this man is unrivaled.
And now Dabi has released a super advanced Nomu out in public. The first time we've seen the League since S4 ep 14. Well, Shigaraki did say it was their turn now. Guess he kept true to his word.
I think now is the perfect time to watch the movie no? Right between this season and season 5 because everyones been introduced and deku has his new gauntlet now
@@CupOfWhiskey No. The second movie is supposed to take place between episode 12 and 13 of S5. But because of the arc switch, it now should be watched after at least episode 24 of S5. Some reactors pay really close attention, so even the smallest spoiler should be avoided. And boy, does that movie slip in a lot of spoilers.
Finally, from here on is when the real show start.

Tokoyami's hero name is tsukuyomi.... he always calls him by his hero name so Don't get distracted, his real name and hero name is similar so you might got confused that Hawks didn't say his name right
Hawks and Endeavor are my favorite characters 💜 they're basically the only reason I'm still hooked on the manga tbh

Personally, I imagine that quirks are considered a basic human right in the MHA world, so forcible removal of quirks could be seen as a violation of that.

I hate that you feel like you need to apologize for how you felt. I liked brava and gentle but even in the manga it feels like filler. Deku just rescued eri and went superman on overhaul, nighteye died and lemillion lost his quirk… and now you gotta stop a dude with a mustache from crashing ur school talent show…

come to think about all might was the number 1 hero and he was using the power of other 8 generetions inside of him, endevor is nuber 2 in terms of power he is the most powerful hero (selfmade)
Even if you can't tell how old La Brava and Gentle were, you still have to realize that a high budget mainstream anime isn't going to just have a seemingly intimate/romantic relationship between a 12 year old girl and a 35+ year old guy.
So you would have to assume that either La Brava isn't a child, or their relationship is not romantic.

Yeah Yeah... good reaction. But real question, Morgan, where did you get that hoody?
All of those characters represent apart of society. There are people that are wanting to be heroes and failed. And Deku was able to not only fight and hold his own against a villain nobody else was able to beat, including teams of heroes, but he convinced him to give up. It's Deku's first time being a true hero, which isn't just knocking a villain out, but actually breaking their will to be a villain. Deku's forceful will was what won that battle. It's what pro heroes really do, inspire society and cause villains to stop wanting to be a villain.
That's why All Might tells Kachan & Deku that they are both halves of what it takes to be a true hero. Kachan never gives ippo, never backs down regardless of the odds. He's going to win. He has to win. Deku inspires others to want to be better people. Even the second episode he rushed a villain, quirkless, to save someone. And it moved others to want to help too.
when I first watched these episodes, I also thought Gentle Criminal and La Brava were filler characters, they just gave off that vibe, and their character design screamed filler character to me.. glad they weren't though
