      lewis has never been a mentor, hes too single minded. Also never shaped the team to his liking and/or played the leaders role and many times in the car its clear that hes not a coherent part of the whole..often hes in opposition with the strat and openly doubting for example. Well, Charles could learn from that. but its only applicable if the Ferrari strat is suboptimal (and Ferrari is shaping up to be much improved in that area) its worth mentioning that lewis also often complained about winning strats (basically became a f1 meme)...
      anyway, truly doubt that lewis would or could learn charles anything... they are both great frontrunners when all is great with the car and poor compared to their own high level when there's adversity....

    Lewis and Sainz are actually quite similar drivers and with similar attitudes. High precision, considered, VERY clean, take advantages when they find it but also hang back and conserve rather than overdriving. Also LeClerc and Hamilton are literally neighbors in Monaco. He's seen a potential opportunity to get back into a championship winning car and he's thinking if he makes it back he can genuinely fight for a world title, I absolutely guarantee thats what he's thinking. Most F1 drivers believe (rightly or wrongly) that they can be a world champion in the right car even against Max.. They wouldn't be in the sport otherwise.

    • @saahil_xd
      @saahil_xd 8 месяцев назад

      Yes AND no. Bahrain has been around for 20 years now. The main reason why they are having that much drain cover issues is because of the suction created by the new groud effect cars. Year by year they are finding ways to put more downforce in the car to make it quicker, and they're also running the car a lot closer to the ground, hence the suction created...

If he moves to Red Bull, Ferrari, or Merc and Max, Leclerc, or Russel dominates him his name is tarnished. He saw this with Danny Ric and doesn't want to make the same mistakes. I've heard people talk(race cafe,ziggo) that the inlets at the cockpit of the RB 20 in combination with the tunnels are a new form of the blowndiffuser. Does anyone got any idea about that or do we need a crash to confirm or deny.

    • @RaptorV1USA
      @RaptorV1USA 8 месяцев назад

      I would think it could def. be much more a "blown wing" as they seem to be directing air from the tunnels and the areas between the shoulders and the central spine body work straight back to the beam wing.

    Can you PLEASE for the love of god not talk about Lewis to Ferrari every weekend? I'm sure you will, but I'm already sick of seeing them ask everyone about it and its only been 3 days of testing. I can see it now, every race; Merc does well one race, 'LEWIS LEWIS ARE YOU SAD TO LEAVE MERC LEWIS', merc does bad next race, 'LEWIS LEWIS FERRARI MUST BE LOOKING GOOD NOW LEWIS'. God the thought is already boring me

    Regarding Lando, and signing a contract a year early, his management team should be fired, because that was stupid and naive, as proven by what’s happened. Our further qualify, why, he is a sort of driver, one of the top, he, therefore, with under no pressure to signa year early and should not have done that. In the same way, he should not have signed his long-term deal last time.

    Budget caps are ruining this sport.
    If you got your car wrong, there’s absolutely nothing significant you can do about it. Last season was the worst ever, no fight at all for the championship.
    Also, the 3 richest teams are still the 3 fastest in the championship anyway, so there’s really no advantages in these restrictions.

    • @sloppynyuszi

      They said time would be needed for things to settle down. Outside Max being up front the field was toght. Aston Martin in the winter and McLaren mid season absolutely proved you can still make big gains. And if you can’t see the field closing up you aren’t paying attention. Williams came last with 8 points in 2022 and Haas came last with 12 points last year. These points before could get you to 8th or 7th spot before, because the top 10 was so locked out. The bottom teams barely scored points before.
      I think you just see Max dominating and don’t pay attention to the rest of the grid.

    After 40 years of watching F1, I'll give it 3 races and if verstappen is streets ahead, I'm out. Boring beyond belief. Also, the fact that Andretti was not allowed to join the grid has nothing to do with sport, just money and greed. F1 is going down the drain.

  • @14Unow

    I used to be a massive F1 fan but no longer. There is is simply no racing in F1. At present Red Bull wins everything for last 3 years and no other team competing with them. Prior to that Mercedes won 7 driver championshion and again prior to Mercedes, Red Bull were the winners again with Vettel albeit against Alonso doing a herculean effort against them. Every team should be able to win races from day one of each championship. Worse still Renault's engine is so far behind and they are not even allowed to update the power unit. Great system guaranteeing team failure. Go look at the 1980ies with Senna, Prost, Piquet, Mansell and Berger going wheel to wheel with different drivers winning championships. Great racing. In 1982, Piquet even managed a punch up at German GP. Also engine manufacturers kept building more powerful engines to spice it up during the seasons. The rot set in with Schumacher era and the sport has never been the same since then.
