Omg this is THE product we all need! So glad kokoist has finally come up with it. Can’t wait to get my hands On these in Australia 😍😍 How long do we have to cure the mochi?
I need to order some GELIP MOCHI!✨ The amount of control you had while applying the tip…..yes I want try now! I took notes and even made little drawings for myself heh. Thank you for making this video!!
I am an absolute beginner and not sure I will start a nail business but I want to learn and do something creative. I wear salon gel nails and it gets expensive so, at the very least I will learn to do my own nails! Thank you so much, you are my number one inspiration.
I tried this last week and it is easy to use although I’m unsure if my gel is fully cured. All of my other kokoist gels cure hard, but this one seems a little like putty.
Thanks for the content. I just joined and bought these items to try. I used your code ....this made it affordable especially since I'm trying it out.I will be tuning in.🙂
I bought the Kokoist Gelip Bond Base, Gelip Tips, Mochi, and Glossy No-Wipe Top Coat. I'm just not a fan of that rubbery hot glue feel of the Mochi once cured. It is not unlike off-brand "gel glue" for tips that I've tried. Being someone with very flat nails, I cannot avoid feeling the rubberiness under the free edge between the tip and the natural nail. I wish they could figure out how to engineer this product to cure harder like an actual soft gel...more like a hybrid gel, but for adhering gel tips. About a week after application, I cleansed under my free edges, applied Mega Stick Base, followed by Glossy No-Wipe Topcoat. It definitely felt much better, but that's a lot of extra work to have to do in order to be comfortable with the Mochi. Just my experience. Oh...I should mention that I did, of course, smooth the Mochi, wiping away any excess with my brush before curing. I am a licensed tech with some experience. I don't want someone to read my comment and assume that I just left excess Mochi under my free edges. ;)
Thank you for sharing! I know what you mean. It’s almost like you have to seal any expose Mochi w/ Non-Wipe top to avoid that feel or stickiness. I personally don’t love full coverage tips, so 🤷🏻♀️ I like free forms and half tips and my potted soft gel builder 😊
Can you overlay with hard gel even though you did your base with soft gel? Like you use a rubber base, gel tips, soak off builder gel but you do this method of sparing 2mm from the cuticle and overlay with… hard gel? Or is that not really done? Since putting hard gel over soft gel is like a no no?
I wish I saw this before applying the gummy gel. I am about to lose it as it was so sticky and ended up with lots of bubbles. I will follow your method next time.

Not a huge fan myself, but if I need a quick set or a fix, they’re great right?

Hi,
My thumb nails are 18 mm wide. Which full cover brand can I use that will cover my thumb nails?

Can I ask how wide your thumb nail measures? My main concern is that my nails are too wide to try gelip but they seem flexible enough to fit
What is a good Curing unit? I’m not a professional but I’m struggling to make my natural nails stronger

yesssss!!!!!!!
Do yo have to cure the overlay before adding gel polish?
I wish I saw this before applying the gummy gel. I am about to lose it as it was so sticky and ended up with lots of bubbles. I will follow your method next time.
Is it normal for the product to have a gummy consistency after curing? I even have the kokoist lamp so it’s not a brand inconsistency issue
It is. So you want to make sure the Bond doesn’t seep out past the free-edge.
Whats the price for the masterclass?
I have a free masterclass and a paid course:
