Looks great Liz, now protect that CF with multiple coats of UV protection. Id leave it personally.
sheeeesh!
good stuff Liz!
just in time for this year's Subi Fest!
Leave it unwrapped just get it ceramic coated
Also reinstall the air duct from the oem hood to the CB hood as u will loose performance and it will get hot
Here mine it’s 2 years old
Time for a front mount intercooler! That hood doesn't have the ducting for the top mount intercooler. It also said on the website not to use hood struts as it may crack the carbon.
i’ve been wanting a front mount intercooler ! might have to do that next 🙈
Make sure you get the hood ceramic coated my last hood was also Seibon the fitment was great but the clear coat/ Gel they use for it was gone with in 8 months the sun ate it up fast my current hood I’ve had for 2 years with no fad in the clear/gel after ceramic coating it.
Will do 🫡
I have this hood and it’s nice as well as the heat extraction function.
Looks super aggressive.. love it
The most beautiful thing i seen in this video is the grass
cant wait to see the new color!!(;
hehe 🙈
Maybe a blue wrap for the subi
We dead ass needed this video
Yay! Congratulations, Liz!! You finally got one!! ❤🫶
Yes! Thank you! 🥹
@stiliz. you're so welcome, sweetie 🫶
Looks clean Liz👌🏽👌🏽. Great job chica
Thank you 🥹
Nice vid I like the hood and the vents on it but would be worried about a lot of water getting in your engine compartment when it rains . Good vid as always 😅
Leave the carbon exposed and wrap the car gloss black 💯perfect combo
🔥🔥🔥

Congrats! I got a seibon cf hood for my WRX blobeye!

Firaaaaa🥵🥵🥵🥵
You better not sell this car🖤
I won’t ! 🤭
You can use the stock air duct on that hood??
Damn, your car is soo nice! What kind of side skirts do you have? Been trying to find those for a good min lol
Enjoy your videos! The intercooler duct from the OEM bonnet is not necessary.? Can it be used on the CF bonnet?
What’s the name of those rims? Car looks great! Just got my Sti and am starting to mod it🤙🏽
What color is that on the STI ? Wanna put that on my 9th gen si
Mossy Green by Teck wrap !
Looks good. Can't wait till the new color and look. If you're ever ended up in North cal, especially Sacramento, hit me up, and we'll go grab a drink or so....anyway, keep it up 👍
geez dude
Thanks !! ☺️
Damn that looks MEAN
Thanks !
@Sti Liz honestly the carbon hood looks so good on the Sti and honestly I think you should wrap it for sure 👍🏼👍🏼💯💯 and leave the vents exposed 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯💯
thanks !!
Dont have problem with the Rain for hoses
Either ways it’s gonna look 🔥🔥🔥 I would wrap it and leave the vents exposed that way you get both 💪🏼
Hi liz How should I contact you regarding sponsorship?
Wrap it to protect it!
Carbon looks great but if it’s not garaged they hold up horrible parked outside. I looked into getting a carbon hood but to do it right is stupid expensive. 1k-1500 for the hood, hood pins and labor another 500$. Having it wrapped or a good clear coat to protect it another 3-500. It cost me 300 bucks parts and labor to have versus vents installed on my oem hood.
That hood doesn't need pins and that labor quote is ridiculous. They're harder to maintain, sure, but if you take care of them they can last indefinitely.
Edit: I'm wrong, they do require pins. Doesn't make sense to reuse all of the factory hardware if you're using pins, unless they only mean the hinge nuts, but there it is.
@@Hawk7886 nice pins can easily go up to 2-400 dollars and the labor is not ridiculous. They are going to spend 1.5-2 hours on the hood pin install. So 2-300 in labor is pretty average. According to the manufacturers hood pins are required. Bet hey feel free to save a few hundred bucks and roll the dice.
@@lucian7182 did you try watching the actual video? The Seibon hood uses the factory hardware, not pins. They're really easy to install as long as you take your time and make sure you double check the panel gaps.
@@Hawk7886 lmfao yes that’s how a hood is installed. No shit it uses factory hardware. The manufacturer says it requires hood pins as added safety to secure the hood down at high speeds. Because the hood latch point on the carbon hoods is known to potentially fail causing the hood to fly up and damage the car.
@@Hawk7886hood pins are recommended 🤦♂️

I personally like the no hood look, but with any kind of carbon hood, it’ll be all rotted with a couple years:(
Show us your titles….
Do you have to worry about rain or water getting thru the side vents with a intake? planning on getting one for my sti too!🙊
